​নতুন বছরের নতুন সূর্য নিয়ে আসুক নতুন আশা। বিবেক পরিবার-এর পক্ষ থেকে আপনাদের জানাই পহেলা বৈশাখের অফুরন্ত শুভেচ্ছা।

উৎসবের এই আনন্দ শুধু নিজের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ না রেখে ছড়িয়ে দিই তাদের মাঝে, যাদের জীবনে উৎসবের রঙ খুব একটা পৌঁছায় না। আসুন, এই নববর্ষে আমরা সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী অসহায় ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াই। আমাদের সামান্য সহযোগিতাই পারে কোনো একটি মুখে হাসি ফোটাতে।

Measles is a highly contagious viral disease that is currently seeing an uptick in various regions. While it may seem like a common fever at first, it can lead to serious complications if not managed properly- especially in children and vulnerable groups.

​At BIBEK, we believe that awareness is the first step toward prevention. Here is everything you need to know to protect yourself and your loved ones.

​🔴 Recognize the Symptoms:
High Fever: Often the first sign, accompanied by a runny nose.
​Red Eyes: Sensitivity to light and watery eyes (Conjunctivitis).
​Dry Cough: Persistent coughing and sneezing.
​Skin Rash: Reddish spots that typically start on the face and spread downward to the rest of the body.
​Koplik Spots: Tiny white spots inside the mouth/cheeks.

​✅ What to Do if Infected:
​Rest & Hydration: Ensure the patient gets plenty of rest and drinks fluids like water, coconut water, and soups to prevent dehydration.
​Vitamin A: Measles depletes Vitamin A levels. Consult a doctor to ensure the administration of Vitamin A capsules, which are crucial for recovery.
​Isolation: Keep the patient in a separate, well-ventilated room to prevent the virus from spreading to others.
​Hygiene: Maintain strict cleanliness of the patient's clothing and surroundings.

​⚠️ Important Warnings:
​Avoid Superstitions: Do not rely on unverified traditional cures. Always seek scientific medical advice.
​Watch for Red Flags: If the patient experiences difficulty breathing, severe ear pain, or persistent high fever, contact a healthcare professional immediately.

​Prevention is better than cure! Ensure your children are vaccinated with the MR (Measles-Rubella) vaccine as per the government’s EPI schedule.
