Tasenuddin Talukder (Landlord) of Kazlakathi, Darial Union, Bakergonj Upazilla, Barishal, Bangladesh, his great-grandchildren have formed this charitable organization, and named after him- Tasenuddin Talukder Foundation (TTF). th. He died after the partition of the Indian sub-continent in 1952 leaving his only son as an heir of his Talukdar estates at the age of 80. Within 7 years of his father's death unfortunately his only son Mr. Hafez Talukder also passed away in his 40s in the year of 1959, leaving 4 under-aged sons and 3 daughters behind. The eldest of them was around 12 years old. This happened within a decade of abolishing the Jamindari System during land reforms in East Pakistan (Bangladesh) in 1950. Despite losing the right to property in the East Bengal State Acquisition and Tenancy Act of 1950 Late Mr. Hafez Talukder, the then Union Board President and a politician willed a portion of the inherited land to Waqf, known as Hafez Talukder Waqf Estate. However, over time, the grandsons of the late Mr. Tasen U Talukder have donated to and established many organizations in their area for adding value to society and maintained their ancestor's legacy, while continuing political and social works. The following are the organizations:
1. Primary School (Est. 1920).
2. Kazlakathi Talukder Haat.
3. Kazlakathi Talukder Haat Jame Mosque.
4. Kajlakathi Baitul Hafez Jame Mosque.
5. Kazlakathi Hafez Talukder High School (Est. 1970).
6. Red Crescent Maternity and Child Care Center (Est. 1980).
7. Kazlakathi Sub Post Office.
8. Kazlakathi Animal Health Center.
9. Hafez Talukder Waqf Estate.
# The main objectives of this foundation are to continue charity and social work.
# The foundation also aims to look after & manage organizations, which were formed and donated from Tasenuddin Talukder's land properties by his only son Late Mr. Hafez Talukder, and his grandsons.
# The foundation, TTF will sponsor and support the people of Kazlakathi-Darial-Bakergonj-Barishal from Talukder Family Funds.
# TTF will work with other entities for social change and add value to the livelihood of the people.
# TTF does not and will not take any kind of donations from individuals other than family to continue their initiatives.
