Protect Environment from Adverse Climate Change (PEACE) is a voluntary Social and non-profitable humanitarian, local development Organization, and all the activities will be done which came into existence in early part of 2008 with the close cooperation of few professional and well experience social workers who had been serving in different NGOs in the filled of rural development and some philanth
ropists and find out a way of solving the multifarious problems in the society and to promoting the socio-economic condition of the land less, poor, destitute and oppressed by mobilizing local and other available resources. Every individual will be able to enjoy the basic rights as a member of the society and know about love. PEACE believes that the beneficiaries will play active role for their own development. PEACE will act as catalytic agent in the system to be maintained. PEACE has two organizational steps in general council and executive committee, the organization have been implementing through Executive Director. PEACE got its registration from department of Social Welfare Service Government of Bangladesh under voluntary Social Welfare agencies (Registration and Control) ordinance 1961. The organization is under taken various integrated rural development programmes like Group Formation, Climate Change adaptation, Awareness building, Adult education, income generating programme, health education and health facilities, leadership training, agriculture, fishery, relief and rehabilitation programme as emergency period. PEACE loves and desires to be a true people’s entity with the principles of democracy, good governance, modern thinking and human values.
