DOCAP-Development Organization of Coastal Area's People Development Organization of Coastal Area’s People (DOCAP) has been working in coastal District-Barguna since 1999. DOCAP is a local NGO.

Our main goal is sustainable development approach for vulnerable coastal communities with focus on marginalized social groups. It came into existence in 1997 with the collaboration of some like minded educated social worker of Barguna island District with a view to uplift the socio-economic condition of the coastal and rural underprivileged disadvantaged and neglected people through conscienti

zation, capacity building, institution building utilization of local resource, capital formation and undertaking felt need based problem solving programs by adopting modern scientific knowledge and technique.
