প্রান্তিক জনগোষ্ঠীর তথ্য অধিকার নিশ্চিতকরণ ও দায়িত্ববাহকদের জবাবদিহিতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে নাগরিক প্রকল্পের আওতায় গত ১০ ও ১১ জুন বরগুনায় “তথ্য অধিকার ও জবাবদিহিতা বিষয়ক আন্তঃপ্রজন্ম ডায়লগ সেশন” যৌথভাবে আয়োজন করে সিবিডিপি, উইক্যান ও মানুষের জন্য ফাউন্ডেশন।

এই ডায়লগ সেশনে প্রান্তিক জনগোষ্ঠীর সামাজিক নিরাপত্তা, সেবা প্রাপ্তি, শান্তি প্রতিষ্ঠা এবং জীবনমান উন্নয়নে তথ্য অধিকার ও জবাবদিহিতার গুরুত্ব নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হয়। অংশগ্রহণকারীরা তাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনের অভিজ্ঞতা তুলে ধরেন এবং আন্তঃপ্রজন্মের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক আস্থা, বোঝাপড়া ও সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধির মাধ্যমে একটি শান্তিপূর্ণ ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক সমাজ গঠনের প্রত্যয় ব্যক্ত করেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উইক্যানের নির্বাহী পরিচালক জিনাত আরা হক, প্রকল্প পরিচালক ফারহান রহমান, মানুষের জন্য ফাউন্ডেশনের পক্ষ থেকে নাগরিক প্রকল্পের ব্যবস্থাপক তাসনিম হোসেন প্রমি, প্রকল্পের মনিটরিং অফিসার সাবরিনা ইসলামসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ।

সিবিডিপি বিশ্বাস করে, তথ্যের অধিকার শুধু একটি আইনি অধিকার নয়—এটি প্রান্তিক মানুষের ক্ষমতায়ন, সামাজিক ন্যায়বিচার এবং জবাবদিহিমূলক সমাজ গঠনের অন্যতম ভিত্তি।

আন্তর্জাতিক অবৈধ, অনিয়ন্ত্রিত ও অনিবন্ধিত মৎস্য শিকার প্রতিরোধ দিবস উপলক্ষে ফিসনেট প্রকল্পের আওতায় তালতলীর নিদ্রার চরে সিবিডিপি ও সিএনআরএস-এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে একটি সচেতনতামূলক কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

কর্মশালায় অবৈধ মৎস্য শিকার প্রতিরোধ, টেকসই মৎস্য আহরণ এবং সামুদ্রিক সম্পদ সংরক্ষণে জেলে সম্প্রদায়ের ভূমিকা নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়।

বরগুনায় বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস ২০২৬ পালিত!

“আজকের পদক্ষেপ, আগামীর নিরাপত্তা” প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে বরগুনায় বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস পালিত হয়েছে।

দিবসটি উপলক্ষে মানববন্ধন, আলোচনা সভা ও গাছের চারা রোপণ কর্মসূচি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। বেসরকারি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন গ্রাম বাংলা উন্নয়ন কমিটি ও #সিবিডিপি যৌথভাবে এ কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করে।

কর্মসূচিতে সিপিপি, সাইন্স এন্ড এডুকেশন ইয়োথ ফাউন্ডেশন, গ্রীন পিস ইয়োথ ডেভেলপমেন্ট সোসাইটি, সবুজ বরগুনা, ধারা, জলতরণী, সেইন্ট বাংলাদেশসহ বিভিন্ন সামাজিক ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধিরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক জনাব অনিমেষ বিশ্বাস। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বরগুনা প্রেসক্লাবের সাবেক সভাপতি জনাব চিত্ত রঞ্জন শীল, সিবিডিপির নির্বাহী পরিচালক জাকির হোসেন মিরাজসহ স্থানীয় গণমাধ্যমকর্মী, পরিবেশকর্মী ও যুব সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধিরা।

আলোচনা সভা শেষে কালেক্টরেট স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজ প্রাঙ্গণে ফলজ গাছের চারা রোপণ করা হয়।

সভায় বক্তারা বলেন, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের ঝুঁকি মোকাবেলায় এখনই সম্মিলিত উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করা জরুরি। জলবায়ু ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ দেশ হিসেবে বাংলাদেশ প্রায়ই প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগের মুখোমুখি হয়। তাই পরিবেশ রক্ষা, বৃক্ষরোপণ এবং সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে সবাইকে একসাথে কাজ করতে হবে।

CBDP warmly welcomed Uttaran’s colleagues to our head office for a capacity and readiness workshop on 18 May 2026 led by Fishnet consortium coordinator Amitav Banarjee, along with consortium finance manager Unnoti Bala and Riaj Ahmed Raj, Uttaran’s admin coordinator.

Both CBDP and Uttaran- A Social Development Organization share a heartfelt passion for their respective regions, having started nearly half a decade ago as youth-led movements through an education program. CBDP in Kalirtobok village, in Barguna district, and Uttaran in Jatpur village, Satkhira district recognize that genuine sustainable development can only be achieved by empowering young minds through quality education. Today, both organizations have broadened their focus, especially Uttaran, which has progressed towards national identity, yet both their core missions remain the same: to equip young people with the tools to overcome poverty, inequality, and protect them from misinformation, so they can live with hope, dignity, and resilience.

The CBDP team sincerely looks forward to strengthening its collaboration with Uttaran, united in purpose, to create a safer, more hopeful world for everyone.

বরগুনায় বরিশাল বিভাগীয় এনজিও প্রতিনিধিদের জন্য তিন দিনব্যাপী প্রকল্প প্রস্তাবনা বিষয়ক কর্মশালা!!!

বরগুনা | আরডিএফ মিলনায়তন

বেসরকারি উন্নয়ন সংস্থা বা এনজিওগুলোর জাতীয় সমন্বয়কারী প্রতিষ্ঠান এসোসিয়েশন অব ডেভেলপমেন্ট এজেন্সিজ ইন বাংলাদেশ (ADAB)-এর উদ্যোগে ও সিবিডিপি এর আয়োজনে বরগুনায় শুরু হয়েছে তিন দিনের এক নিবিড় প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালা। সিবিডিপি এর পক্ষ থেকে নিলুফার বিআম্মান - জেন্ডার ফোকাল ও সোলায়মান সজল - প্রকল্প কর্মকর্তা (জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন ও পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ) এতে অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

কর্মশালার মূল উদ্দেশ্যঃ
এই কর্মশালার প্রধান লক্ষ্য হলো এনজিও কর্মীদের দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধি করা। বিশেষ করে:
• প্রকল্পের খসড়া প্রস্তাবনা তৈরি: আন্তর্জাতিক ও দেশীয় দাতা সংস্থাগুলোর কাছে কীভাবে একটি পেশাদার 'প্রকল্প প্রস্তাবনা' (Project Proposal) জমা দিতে হয়, তা শেখানো।
• উন্নয়ন পরিকল্পনা: স্থানীয় সমস্যাগুলোকে চিহ্নিত করে তা সমাধানের জন্য টেকসই পরিকল্পনা তৈরি করা।

অতিথি ও আলোচকদের বক্তব্যঃ
অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথি জনাব আনোয়ার হোসেন (সভাপতি, এডাব এবং নির্বাহী পরিচালক, হীড বাংলাদেশ) তার বক্তব্যে বলেন, তৃণমূল পর্যায়ের এনজিওগুলোকে আরও শক্তিশালী করতে হলে সঠিক পদ্ধতিতে প্রকল্প তৈরির বিকল্প নেই।
বিশেষ অতিথি কাওসার আলম কনক (কর্মসূচি পরিচালক, এডাব) এনজিওগুলোর স্বচ্ছতা ও জবাবদিহিতা নিশ্চিত করার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন। প্রশিক্ষক ড. ইয়াকুব আলী অংশগ্রহণকারীদের হাতে-কলমে প্রকল্প লেখার কৌশলগুলো শিখিয়ে দিচ্ছেন।

অংশগ্রহণকারীদের প্রোফাইলঃ
এই কর্মশালাটি কেবল বরগুনার মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ নেই। এতে অংশ নিয়েছেন:
• বরিশাল বিভাগের ৬টি জেলা (বরিশাল, ভোলা, ঝালকাঠি, পিরোজপুর, বরগুনা ও পটুয়াখালী) থেকে আসা প্রতিনিধিরা।
• মোট ২৫ জন এনজিও প্রতিনিধি ও কর্মকর্তারা এই সেশনে অংশ নিচ্ছেন।

আয়োজক কমিটিঃ
অনুষ্ঠানটি সুন্দরভাবে পরিচালনার দায়িত্বে রয়েছেন:
• সভাপতি: জাকির হোসেন মিরাজ (এডাব বরগুনা জেলা কমিটি)।
• সমন্বয়ক: জাহাঙ্গীর আলম বাবু (বিভাগীয় সমন্বয়কারী, বরিশাল)।
• সঞ্চালক: মাসুদ আলম (সম্পাদক, এডাব বরগুনা জেলা কমিটি)।

এই কর্মশালার মাধ্যমে বরিশাল বিভাগের এনজিওগুলোর কাজের মান বৃদ্ধি পাবে এবং তারা নতুন নতুন প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের মাধ্যমে জনসেবায় আরও বড় ভূমিকা রাখতে সক্ষম হবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

On 3 May 2026, the Nagorikata: Civic Engagement Fund (CEF) organized the “Nagorikata Thematic Collaboration & Networking Event” at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka.

The event aimed to bring together CEF Strategic Partners (SPs), grantees, consortium partners, and other stakeholders to connect, share ideas, and strengthen collaboration.

The event provided a structured platform for dialogue and collaboration around four priority areas: Anti-Discrimination Law, Human Rights Defenders Protection Act, Gender Equality, and Youth Engagement.

The program began with welcome remarks by Dr. Adi Walker, Team Leader, and Katharina König, Deputy Team Leader of Nagorikata: CEF. Mr. Michal Krejza, Head of Cooperation at the European Union, delivered the opening remarks. Ms. Shaheen Anam, Executive Director of Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), spoke on behalf of the Strategic Partners. This was followed by the inaugural remarks from Dr. Saimum Parvez, Special Assistant to the Honourable Prime Minister on Environment, Forestry and Climate Change.

An overview of the program and introduction to the four thematic areas were presented by Mr. AKM Mahbubul Islam Tanvir from BANDHU and Md Rokonuzzaman from ASK. A panel discussion on the four themes followed, moderated by Mr. Hasibur Rahman, Executive Director of MRDI.

The event then moved into four parallel breakout sessions. The Anti-Discrimination Law session was facilitated by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), the Human Rights Defenders Protection Act session by Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), the Youth Engagement session by BANDHU, and the Gender Equality session by the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). These sessions brought together partners, government representatives, and experts for detailed discussions and joint planning.

In the closing session, key points from the breakout discussions were presented by Mr. Wasiur Rahman Tonmoy, Lead, Youth and Social Cohesion at MJF. Ms. Sara Hossain, Executive Director (Honorary) of BLAST, also shared her reflections.

Closing remarks were delivered by Dr. Fahmida Khatun, Executive Director of CPD, along with Special Guest Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Adviser to the Honorable Prime Minister on Finance and Planning. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Ms. Corinne Thévoz, Deputy Head of Cooperation at the Embassy of Switzerland.

The event marked an important step in strengthening partnerships, encouraging dialogue, and promoting joint action for inclusive civic engagement in Bangladesh.
