আগামী ১১ এপ্রিল ২০২৬, শনিবার বিকেল ৪ টা ও ৬:৩০ ঘটিকায় ক্ষুদ্র নৃ গোষ্ঠী সাংস্কৃতিক ইন্সটিটিউট (KSI)-তে প্রদর্শিত হতে যাচ্ছে নির্মাতা এবিএম নাজমুল হুদা-র নতুন কাজ ‘ম্রো রূপকথা’।

বিশেষ আকর্ষণ হিসেবে থাকছে ম্রো ভাষায় রচিত অসাধারণ এক অ্যানিমেশন চলচ্চিত্র ‘পরিণাম’। পাহাড়ি জনজীবনের গল্প আর সংস্কৃতির এক অনন্য মিশেল দেখার আমন্ত্রণ রইলো সবাইকে।

স্বাধীনতা অর্জিত হয়েছে ত্যাগ, সাহস এবং অদম্য মনোবলের বিনিময়ে। আজ আমরা স্মরণ করি সেই সব বীর যোদ্ধাকে, যারা লড়াই করেছেন মুক্তির জন্য এবং আমাদের স্বাধীনতার পথকে আলোকিত করেছেন।

আজ আমরা সকল শহীদের স্মৃতির প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানাই এবং বিশেষভাবে সম্মান জানাই বান্দরবানের আদিবাসী বীর বিক্রম খেতাবপ্রাপ্ত মুক্তিযোদ্ধা উক্য চিং মারমাকে

রাতভর চলা কুড়িগ্রামের লড়াইয়ে বেঁচে থেকে পাকিস্তানি সেনাদের বিরুদ্ধে অবদান রাখার জন্য। তার সাহস ও ত্যাগ আমাদের স্বাধীনতার গল্পে অনন্য পরিচয় যোগ করেছে।

আমাদের অঙ্গীকার, আমরা সবাই মিলে এমন একটি বাংলাদেশ গড়ব, যেখানে প্রতিটি মানুষ নিরাপদ, সমান এবং ক্ষমতায়নপ্রাপ্ত হবে।
প্রকৃত স্বাধীনতা মানে কেউ পিছনে থাকবে না।

২০২৬ সালে এসেও বান্দরবান, রাঙামাটি, খাগড়াছড়ির অনেক বাজারে হাজারো নারী বিক্রেতা ও ক্রেতার জন্য নেই ন্যূনতম স্যানিটেশন সুবিধা।

Green Milieu পাহাড়ি বাজারে নারীদের জন্য নিরাপদ ও স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত স্যানিটেশন নিশ্চিত করার জন্য পাশে দাঁড়াতে শুরু করেছে ডিজিটাল ক্যাম্পেইন।

This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental initiatives, community engagement, communication, and program support while working with a youth-led organization in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

• Communications Intern – Visual Media / Camera Operator (1)
• Program Support Intern (2)
• Field Coordinator (1)

Interns will receive a monthly honorarium, internship certificate, experience letter, and professional reference based on performance.

A small glimpse of learning and creativity from our Green Milieu community. 🌿

Our member Buwai Marma is currently doing a 6-month Japanese language training at BRAC Institute of Skills Development. Today, she shared a beautiful and creative technique with us using the rhythm of poetry to remember Japanese words, whether left, right, big, or small.

Learning becomes more joyful when knowledge is shared in creative ways. We are proud to see our members growing, exploring new languages, and bringing those learnings back to the community. ✨

Our WOW 2026 chapter grantee Green Milieu has been awarded for their project 'Roots to Wings: Heritage Guiding Young Voices'.

Roots to Wings – Heritage Guiding Young Voices is a youth-led WOW Bangladesh Chapter event in Bandarban, organised by Green Milieu to celebrate Indigenous culture, creativity, and gender-inclusive leadership. The project creates a dynamic platform where Indigenous youth engage in intergenerational dialogue under the sacred Boto tree, participate in hands-on cultural and digital skills workshops, and showcase artistic performances and exhibitions. Blending traditional knowledge with modern storytelling and environmental advocacy, the initiative amplifies young voices—especially girls and young women—while fostering cultural preservation, climate awareness, and community collaboration. The project strengthens networks, promotes inclusion, and inspires sustainable youth-led action in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

WOW - Women of the World 2026 is a global movement working towards a gender-equal world through arts and culture. In Bangladesh, WOW began with divisional chapters in 2017 and culminated in a national festival in Dhaka in 2019. This festival began in the UK in 2010 and was founded by Jude Kelly. Since 2016, the British Council has partnered with the WOW Foundation to deliver programmes internationally, placing arts and culture at the centre of conversations on gender equity, agency and representation.

নিজের ভাষায় মনের ভাব প্রকাশের অধিকার মানবিক মর্যাদার এক মৌলিক ভিত্তি। ভাষার অধিকার রক্ষার সংগ্রামে জীবন উৎসর্গকারী সকল শহীদদের প্রতি জানাই বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা।

ভাষার বৈচিত্র্য আমাদের শক্তি।
বাংলাদেশ বহু ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতির সমন্বয়ে গঠিত একটি সমৃদ্ধ দেশ। বিভিন্ন জাতিসত্তার মাতৃভাষা আমাদের সম্মিলিত ঐতিহ্যের অমূল্য সম্পদ।
