YEH co-hosted a session together with "It’s Time: a Circular Society" This discussion at highlighted the critical role of social business in driving a just transition to an inclusive circular economy, emphasizing the urgent need for systemic change.
🎤 H.E. Chief Adviser GOB of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Prof. Muhammad Yunus, delivered an inspiring keynote on the power of youth-led change in Bangladesh. He shared stories of resilience, showcasing how young people in Bangladesh are shaping a hopeful, solutions-driven future.
🌍 Christina Jager, Co-Founder & Managing Director at Yunus Environment Hub, emphasized that behavioral shifts, social innovation, and systemic change are essential to building a truly inclusive circular economy—one that leaves no one behind.
📣 Christina spoke about the critical role of social business entrepreneurs in driving this transformation, highlighting how they are embedding circular solutions into their models to reduce waste, create jobs, and foster economic inclusion. Emphasizing that for a circular economy to thrive, we must go beyond supporting social businesses alone. Stronger collaboration across sectors—between businesses, policymakers, and communities—is essential to accelerate this shift and scale impact.
