Youth group organized a half-day orientation workshop on countering misinformation and disinformation, and digital safety, freedom of expression (FoE) in Khulna, Meherpur, Bagerhat and Chuadanga on 05, 12, 19 and 24 May 2026. 120 youths participated in four workshops. Through interactive discussions and group participation, participants learned about online safety, responsible use of digital platforms, and the harmful impacts of misinformation and disinformation in communities. The workshop also discussed challenges which are faced by youths living with disabilities, religious minorities, indigenous and dalit. Badabon Sangho's tested tools and methods help to improve understanding and practical skills on identifying misleading information and digital harassment reporting.

On 19 May 2026, Youth group organized a half-day orientation workshop on countering misinformation and disinformation, and digital safety, freedom of expression (FoE) in Bagerhat. The workshop was held with 30 community participants. Through interactive discussions and group participation, participants learned about online safety, responsible use of digital platforms, and the harmful impacts of misinformation and disinformation in communities. The workshop also discussed challenges such as online harassment, digital insecurity, technology-based violence, and the spread of false information, especially affecting women, youth, minorities, and marginalized communities. Badabon Sangho's tested tools and methods help to improve understanding and practical skills on identifying misleading information and digital harassment reporting.

Badabon Sangho organized its annual retreat programme at Pirojpur park with the participation of 80 team members from Dhaka, Bagerhat, Khulna, and Mongla. The retreat was organized to strengthen team bonding, improve coordination among colleagues from different regions, and create a positive space for reflection, motivation, and collective learning. It also served as an important platform for sharing organisational updates and announcing key decisions taken by the Executive Committee (EC) members regarding organisational development and future planning. The retreat included several recreational activities and games, creating a joyful and engaging environment for all team members. A raffle draw session was also held where 20 participants received prizes. Later, a cultural session featured songs, dances, poetry recitations, and drama performances by team members. The retreat concluded with speeches from the Coordinator and Executive Director highlighting teamwork, staff wellbeing, collaboration, and the importance of strengthening organisational unity.

Badabon Sangho conducted a follow-up meeting with five gender-based violence survivors at the training room of Bagerhat Dashani office. The purpose of the meeting was to understand the services delivery approach, mental condition, society’s perspective toward them, and the status of their cases. The team talked individually with each survivor about what they are doing now, the problems they are facing in society, the obstacles they are facing in getting justice. All of them shared their side of stories and shared their desire to become financially independent. Badabon Sangho team members asked which type of financial support would be suitable for them and soon that will be provided to them. The meeting helped the team to better understand the survivors’ current challenges and strengthen trust between the survivors and the organization.

Badabon Sangho organized a one-day training session in Kochua on “Organic Agriculture and Environment Protection’ with 19 women farmers from the Charsonakura and Adharmanik women farmers’ groups. The training focused on sustainable farming practices and improving women’s livelihoods. Participants learned about organic farming methods, the harmful effects of chemical fertilizers, and eco-friendly pest control techniques such as pheromone traps and natural sprays made from soap and chili. The session helped increase farmers’ knowledge and supported women’s economic empowerment and long-term household stability.
