CANSA Bangladesh Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place at Hotel Bengal Blueberry, Dhaka on 22 December 2024 and Mrs. Amena Begum, Executive Director, Voice of South Bangladesh, joined in the meeting. The theme of the meeting was inclusiveness and transparency of governing the network. Voice of South Bangladesh is pleased to work with CANSA since long.

ইউ ক্যান এইড এর অর্থায়নে ও ভয়েস অফ সাউথ বাংলাদেশ এর সহযোগিতায় ❝৩০ জন অসহায় প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তির মাঝে বৃষ্টির পানি সংরক্ষণ ট্যাংক ও বাড়ির আঙ্গিনায় সবজি চাষের জন্য সার-বীজ বিতরণ কর্মসূচী❞ শীর্ষক চলমান প্রকল্পের আওতায় আজ ২য় পর্যায়ে ১৫ জন অসহায় প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তির মাঝে বৃষ্টির পানি সংরক্ষণ ট্যাংক বিতরণ করা হয়।
উক্ত বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন শরণখোলা উপজেলার ৪নং সাউথখালী ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান জনাব ইমরান হোসেন রাজীব, বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপকূল ফাউন্ডেশনের নির্বাহী পরিচালক শেখ আবু হোসেন সহ আরও অনেকে।
অনুষ্ঠানের সভাপতিত্ব করেন ভয়েস অফ সাউথ বাংলাদেশের সাধারণ সম্পাদক আমেনা বেগম, সঞ্চালকের দায়িত্বে ছিলেন ভয়েস অফ সাউথ বাংলাদেশ এর হেড অফ প্রোগ্রাম অ্যান্ড কমিউনিকেশন যোসেফ সরকার ও অনুষ্ঠানের সার্বিক তত্বাবধানে ছিলেন ভয়েস অফ সাউথ বাংলাদেশ এর ফিন্যান্স অ্যান্ড অ্যাডমিন অফিসার মোঃ মেহেদী হাসান।
উক্ত অনুষ্ঠান শেষে ১৫ জন অসহায় প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তির মাঝে বৃষ্টির পানি সংরক্ষণ ট্যাংক বিতরণ করা হয় এবং তাদের বৃষ্টির পানি সংরক্ষণ ট্যাংক ব্যবহারের উপর দিক নির্দেশনা প্রদান করা হয়।

The coastal regions of Bangladesh are in the throes of a severe water crisis, posing grave threats to livelihoods, health, hygiene, and sanitation. The scarcity of clean water has reached alarming levels, exacerbating the struggles of communities already grappling with poverty and environmental challenges.
