CRP organised a courtyard meeting on 11 January 2026 at West Bank Town, Savar, to raise awareness on mental health and disseminate information about services provided by the CRP–Rabia Noor Mental Health Day Centre. A total of 35 participants, including local male and female residents, the village doctor, imam, and pharmacy shopkeeper, attended the session. Participants actively engaged in discussions covering the concept of mental health, common mental health problems, signs and symptoms, the importance of early identification and treatment, and the supportive role of family and community. The program successfully enhanced community awareness, generated positive feedback, and contributed to reducing stigma, which promotes mental well-being at the community level.

A standing wheelchair handover ceremony was held at CRP Savar on January 11. Mr. John C. Cherenesky, a respected donor, generously supported the Standing Wheelchair Project, and with his contribution, three standing wheelchairs were provided to beneficiaries during the event. Dr. Monzurul Alam provided his expertise to support the project. The ceremony was attended by CRP Founder Valerie Taylor, Executive Director Dr. Mohammad Sohrab Hossain, and other senior CRP staff members.

CRP organised a one-day workshop titled “Workshop on Mental Health Issues and Service Orientation for OPD Members” on 28 December 2025 at the CRP-Rabia Noor Mental Health Day Centre. The workshop was implemented under the Community-Based Psychosocial Rehabilitation Project, with generous funding support from Berger Paints Bangladesh. The initiative aimed to strengthen community-level understanding of mental health, reduce stigma, and enhance service orientation among OPD members who work with persons with disabilities and psychosocial needs.

The Project Dissemination Program titled “Lesson Learn and Experience Sharing Program on Equitable and Inclusive Health and Rehabilitation for Persons with Disability (EIHRPD) Project” was held on 22 December 2025. The program aimed to share key lessons learned, experiences, challenges, and good practices from the implementation of the EIHRPD Project and to reflect on pathways to strengthen equitable and inclusive health and rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities. The event was jointly organised by CRP and CBM Global Disability Inclusion under the EIHRPD Project initiative.

CRP signed a MoU with PROYASH Institute of Special Education, Dhaka Cantonment, on December 17 to promote mutual benefit, equality of interest, and joint participation in academia, research, and professional exchanges. These efforts focus on areas where each party needs to strengthen academic programs. Dr. Mohammad Sohrab Hossain, Executive Director of CRP, and Colonel Md. Altaf Ali, PSC, Executive Director and Principal of PROYASH, signed the MoU in the presence of senior staff members from both organisations.

A courtyard meeting was organised on 7 December 2025 at Singair, Manikganj, to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and share information about the services offered by the CRP–Rabia Noor Mental Health Day Centre. The session engaged women, men, older adults, and youth in a familiar community setting to promote accessible and community-based psychosocial care. Participants, including OPD members, local leaders, general people, and families of persons with mental health needs, attended the meeting and showed active interest throughout the discussion.

CRP organised a Mental Health Awareness and Services Orientation Program under the “Mental Health Project (Intellectual Disabilities)” on 10 December 2025 at the TSC Conference Hall of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh. The session, funded by North American Humanitarian Aid and Relief (NAHAR), aimed to increase awareness about mental health issues while introducing the mental health services provided by CRP. Attendees included the Dean of BAU, the Proctor, university teachers, and students from different faculties who showed keen interest in the session. The program received positive engagement from attendees and strengthened collaboration between CRP Mymensingh and BAU in promoting inclusive mental health practices.
