Hydration plays an important role in helping children stay focused, think clearly, and feel their best throughout the day.

Encourage your child to meet their daily water intake by:
✔️ Bringing a water bottle to school
✔️ Drinking water during meals, breaks, and after play
✔️ Choosing water over sugary beverages

Poor circulation can affect more than you think, especially during a busy season like Crop Over.
Watch out for signs like leg cramps, swelling, and tingling feet.
A simple vascular screening can help detect early warning signs early.
Get screened before the season gets into full swing.

Your feet can tell you a lot about your circulation!

Signs like numbness, slow-healing wounds, dry cracked skin, swelling, or changes in skin colour may be warning signs of poor circulation. Early detection is important and can help prevent serious complications.

Take a closer look at your feet regularly and don’t ignore the signs. Ask about vascular screening in your area and take steps to protect your health.

Living with diabetes means caring for more than your blood sugar — it also means protecting your heart. ❤️

Diabetes and high blood pressure often go hand in hand, and together they can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and circulation problems.

The good news? Regular heart screening can help detect potential concerns early, often before symptoms appear. Knowing your numbers — blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose, and heart health markers — gives you the power to take action sooner.

Don’t wait for symptoms. Ask about heart screening today. Call 417-0305.

If you are a woman approaching menopause, in menopause, or post-menopause, your diabetes risk deserves attention.

As estrogen levels change, your body may respond differently to insulin, and weight shifts around the waist can also increase your risk for Type 2 Diabetes.

The good news? Small, consistent steps can make a big difference.

Prioritize balanced meals, regular movement, quality sleep, stress management, and routine health checks. Ask your doctor or clinic about screening for blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, and waist measurement.

Stay informed. Stay well. Your health is worth the check-in. 💙

12,000 bottles, 13 schools, 1 mission.

In April, our team in partnership with Hydrate Caribbean and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints visited 13 secondary schools across Barbados, reminding students and staff that choosing to drink water is one of the easiest ways to protect your health.

To make this choice even easier, we distributed 12,000 reusable water bottles, to be used hand-in-hand with the water stations we previously donated.

While one bottle may seem small, each bottle distributed represents a step toward improved health outcomes for our people.

Thank you to every school that welcomed us and supported this initiative. 💙
