We ask that the public follows signs, directions and exercises caution in the area.

The Caribbean Community Drowning Prevention Workshop is well underway. Here are some scenes from this morning.

The Lifeguard Service under the National Conservation Commission is a member of the Royal Life Saving Service and is pleased to have Barbados as the host country for this workshop.

Last night at the Welcome Reception of the Caribbean Community Drowning Prevention Workshop, we heard about Joe Fortez - a Trinbagonian (rumoured to also have Bajan roots) who made an immense impact to lifeguarding in Vancouver.
