A wonderful day of learning, sharing, and connection at our Parent Workshop for parents and caregivers of children and adults with Down syndrome.

Through interactive activities and meaningful conversations, our parents had the opportunity to learn from one another, share experiences, and strengthen the support network within our community. 🤝✨

The Barbados Down Syndrome Association is grateful for the dedication, compassion, and expertise of Ms. Faith Lorde, whose journey with us has been both impactful and deeply rewarding.

As the facilitator of the Association’s Life Skills Module, Ms. Lorde created a nurturing and engaging environment where children participated in fun-filled, interactive activities designed to strengthen their social and emotional development.

Through her patience, encouragement, and creative approach, she helped foster confidence, communication, emotional awareness, and meaningful connections among our participants.

For Ms. Lorde, one of the greatest rewards has been witnessing the children’s growth, celebrating their achievements, and seeing their personalities and abilities shine with each passing session.💙💛💙
