Hello Everyone,

The annual Yacht Club Craft Fair/Sale will be held this year on Saturday, November 14th. As customary the Ark will be using this opportunity to raise some much needed funds. We are asking persons with suitable items to donate (e.g. gift items, Christmas decorations, novelty items etc.) to deliver the items from October 28th to the Ark shelter in Salters, St. George. We are announcing this early so that you have time to assist us with this effort as we know it's a busy time for most. We also look forward to your support on the day of the sale.

This is Techi adopted by Tailyn in the latter part of 2025 shortly after arriving in Barbados to do her doctoral research. She had recently lost her previous much loved companion Bailey. As fate would have it, and although not on her list of priorities at the time, she and a friend ended up visiting the Ark when nearby one day. It was love at first sight for both Techi and Tailyn and for the rest of her stay he was ever present. Whenever time allowed they visited our book sales to say "hello". Techi and Tailyn have now arrived back in the USA and we can see that he is continuing to have a blast. Wishing Techi and Tailyn many, many happy years together.

We regret to inform of the passing of Bibi Nyman Forsythe, founder member of the Ark Animal Welfare Society in 1998 and Committee Member from December 1998 to December 2001 ... a period of time when she was instrumental in designing the Ark newsletters. She was passionate about caring for her furry friends.

May she be at peace with her beloved dogs and cats who predeceased her.

This lovely reel was produced by Reece Varley when she visited between December and January this year. Enjoy and thank you Reece for spending time with our furry ones at the Ark and sharing this.
