Drug Education & Counselling Services Drug Education & Counselling Services is a faith based NGO organisation working with young boys and girls with substance abuse and behavioral issues.

DECS is a faith based NGO organisation working with young boys and girls under the age of 25 years old, who have substance abuse problems or behavioral issues. We conduct group therapy, self development courses, anger management, gambling support groups, individual counselling, mentoring and life coaching just to name a few.

On behalf of the Board, counselors, teachers, volunteers, and clients of Drug Education & Counselling Services, Youth Empowered & Alive, and Second Chance Lessons, I extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow students of Shawnathon Chase.

As a people, we must view this tragedy as a powerful reminder of why we need to stand united in stamping out criminal and violent behavior in our nation. We urgently call on parents and community members to break their silence when they witness criminal activity, to come forward with information that can assist the police, and to actively support efforts to curb violence.

We cannot continue to stand by and watch senseless homicides devastate families and communities. How many more lives must be lost before it reaches your own door? The time to act is now — for the safety of our children, our families, and our country.
