With heavy hearts, Cancer Support Services announces the sudden passing of our Founder and Executive Director, Ms. Janette S. Lynton, STE.

Jan founded Cancer Support Services over 30 years ago and gave her life to one simple belief: we reach out to all. Once you are diagnosed, we respond.

She lived our mission and was โ€” "committed through a spirit of volunteerism to the care of persons with cancer and to bring comfort and support to the affected relatives and dependants."

Because of her, thousands of Barbadians never faced cancer alone โ€” on Ward C12, in screening clinics, in their homes.

Our services continue with brief interruptions expected.

We have lost our founder, our leader, our friend...we will honour Jan by carrying on the work she started.

We ask that you remember Jan's entire family in your prayers.

Rest well, Jan. We thank God for your life and your legacy.
