ICOM Barbados joins the museum community in extending our heartfelt solidarity and support to our colleagues, communities, and institutions affected by the recent earthquake in Venezuela.

We recognize the profound devastating impact that such disasters have on people, families, cultural heritage, and the work of museums and cultural professionals. During this difficult time, we stand with you and all those engaged in the protection of lives, collections, historic sites, and community memory.

Highlights from the ICOM 80th Anniversary Annual Meetings!

Current ICOM Barbados Chairperson Natalie McGuire and Founding Chairperson of ICOM Barbados and former ICOM President Alissandra Cummins, were in attendance as the meetings got underway.

A special congratulations to Ms. Cummins, who was presented with a medal in recognition of her dedicated service and leadership as a past ICOM President. A well-deserved honour celebrating her lasting contribution to the museum community.
