🚨 Webinar Alert: "Why can there be no climate justice without debt justice?" 🚨

Debt and climate breakdown are deeply interconnected, yet debt justice is often overlooked in climate debates. This webinar will explore how sovereign debt, climate finance, austerity, and climate justice intersect, particularly for Global South countries that are least responsible for the climate crisis but often most affected by it.

A tide is coming… and it’s not just the sea. 🌊

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our former colleague, Dwight Calixte.

Dwight worked with CPDC as a Development Specialist from 2019 to 2023, where he supported organisational assessments for NGOs and contributed to several capacity-building initiatives.

Dwight will be remembered as a professional, knowledgeable, and forward-thinking individual who was always willing to share his insight and experience. As a former teacher, he was especially passionate about children’s rights and dedicated much of his time to the development of children and the empowerment of young people.

Those who had the opportunity to work with Dwight remember him as an all-round good person, kind, respectful, and genuinely committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

The CPDC extends sincere condolences to his wife, children, family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. May they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

May he rest in peace.
