🇧🇧💚 4-H Proudly Participates in the National Youth Parade March! 💚🇧🇧

On Friday, 25th September 2026, the Barbados 4-H Foundation proudly participated in the National Youth Parade March, joining young people from across Barbados in a vibrant display of unity, discipline, national pride and youth involvement.

Representing Barbados 4-H were members of:

• CP Clovers 4-H Club
• Alexandra Stars 4-H Club

Our 4-H members proudly represented the Foundation while continuing to embody the values of Head, Heart, Hands and Health. 🌱✨

Opportunities like these allow our youth to connect with others, celebrate their role in national development and demonstrate the positive impact young people can make within their communities and country.

We are proud of every 4-H member who represented the Foundation and carried the 4-H spirit with pride! 💚🍀

🌳🌱 Celebrating Arbor Day with the Barbados 4-H Foundation!🌱🌳

In celebration of Arbor Day, the Barbados 4-H Foundation engaged in several activities promoting agriculture, environmental awareness, and youth involvement. 💚

🌱 At St. Albans Primary School, a hands-on seedling planting demonstration was conducted, where students learned planting techniques while planting lettuce and okra seedlings.

🌿 The Foundation was also pleased to receive a thoughtful Arbor Day token of appreciation from a member of the Springer Memorial School Eagles 4-H Club, consisting of a variety of seedlings. We sincerely appreciate this meaningful contribution and continued support of the 4-H movement.

🌾 To continue spreading the spirit of Arbor Day, the Barbados 4-H Foundation donated a variety of seeds to All Saints Nursery School, encouraging students to participate in agriculture and develop an appreciation for growing their own food and caring for the environment.

Through planting, learning, and giving, we continue to sow the seeds for a greener and more sustainable future. 🌎🌱💚

🌧️🌱 CCPRO Phase 1 is officially underway!

The Barbados 4-H Foundation has commenced Phase 1 of the Climate Change Project on Rainfall Observation (CCPRO) with both junior and senior students.

Junior training began at Holy Innocents Primary School, facilitated by Ms. Judi Clarke, with Ms. Ria Harrison also supporting other junior cohorts.

Senior theory sessions are being held at Springer Memorial School and facilitated by Ms. Shontelle Stoute of CIMH, with students representing Springer Memorial School and Frederick Smith Secondary School.

Through CCPRO, students are building knowledge and practical skills in rainfall observation, weather, climate change, data collection and environmental stewardship.

We are excited to see how students begin this learning journey and look forward to watching their knowledge, practical skills and confidence grow throughout the programme!
