Each year, the SigniaGlobe Financial Group Inc. and Barbados Cricket Association Personal and Professional Development Workshop evolves to meet the changing needs of the young cricketers.
Among this year’s featured sessions was a presentation on digital citizenship led by Dwayne Best, a teacher at Ediston Teaching College and current BCA Youth Team Manager, who encouraged participants to think critically about how they navigate today’s online world.
As technology continues to shape communication, reputation and opportunity, conversations like these form an important part of preparing young athletes for life beyond the game.
Through a mix of topics designed to support personal growth, the workshop continues to equip participants with practical knowledge, relevant life skills and perspectives that extend far beyond cricket.
