At International Coastal Cleanups (ICC) globally these are the most common finds. CYEN records data at these beach cleanups.

Recording this data at BICC is vital as we;
• Gain insight into types of waste and their likely sources,
• Are able identify trends from this data,which can highlight arising issues before said issues become unmanageable
• Inform policy and advocate for reduction of the most harmful items found.

Recording our finds transforms these annual cleanups from short-term fixes to long-term solutions.
It is not just about preventing trash, it is about understanding and preventing it.

Sign-up for BICC using the form in our Linktree and become a beach captain to help record data! 🇧🇧🏖
