🇧🇦🐾 Nekada su bili bolesni, pothranjeni i prepušteni sami sebi. Danas su Miki i Mrvica omiljeni stanovnici Malog porodičnog doma u Ledićima, gdje djeci prave društvo, spavaju uz njih, traže maženje i svakodnevno ih uče nježnosti, brizi i odgovornosti.

Njihova priča govori o spašavanju, oporavku, Mini mačkambaru i posebnoj vezi koja se može stvoriti između djece i životinja. ❤️

🇬🇧🐾 Once sick, malnourished, and left to fend for themselves, Miki and Mrvica are now beloved residents of the Small Family Home in Ledići, where they keep children company, sleep beside them, seek cuddles, and teach them kindness, care, and responsibility every day.

Their story is one of rescue, recovery, the Mini Cat Barn, and the special bond that can grow between children and animals. ❤️

🇧🇦❤️ Trud se isplati.

Nakon godinu dana učenja, redovnog pohađanja aktivnosti i postignutih rezultata u programu Udruženja Bistri Izvor, deset najuspješnijih dječaka i djevojčica iz Doma Bjelave i malih porodičnih domova nagrađeno je danom ispunjenim igrom, smijehom i druženjem u Kinderlandu na Ilidži.

Nakon zabave uslijedio je i zajednički ručak, prilika da zajedno proslave uspješnu godinu i uspomene koje su stvorili kroz program.

Hvala organizaciji Stichting Amanet iz Nizozemske, koja je finansirala ulaznice i ručak za djecu, omogućivši da njihovi trud, znanje i redovnost budu nagrađeni na način koji će dugo pamtiti. ❤️

🇬🇧❤️ Hard work pays off.

After a year of learning, regular attendance, and outstanding achievements in the Bistri Izvor Association program, ten of the most successful boys and girls from Bjelave Home and the Small Family Homes were rewarded with a day filled with fun, laughter, and friendship at Kinderland in Ilidža.

Following the activities, the children enjoyed a shared lunch, giving them an opportunity to celebrate a successful year together and reflect on the memories they created through the program.

We would like to thank Stichting Amanet from the Netherlands for funding the admission tickets and lunch, making it possible to reward the children’s hard work, knowledge, and dedication in a way they will remember for a long time. ❤️

🇧🇦🌱 Sve što smo posijali – niklo je!

Prva bašta Malog porodičnog doma u Ledićima već daje prve plodove. Djeca su ubrala špinat, salatu, rotkvice i mladi luk, a od prvog špinata napravljena je i pita. Tokom juna posijane su i nove kulture koje će rasti tokom ljeta.

🇬🇧🌱 Everything we planted has sprouted!

The first garden at the Small Family Home in Ledići is already producing its first harvest. The children picked spinach, lettuce, radishes and spring onions, and the very first spinach crop was used to make a homemade pie. During June, new crops were also planted and will continue to grow throughout the summer.

🇧🇦❤️ Više od dvadesetero djece iz KJU Dom za djecu bez roditeljskog staranja i malih porodičnih domova tokom protekle školske godine redovno je pohađalo aktivnosti Udruženja Bistri Izvor, odlazeći na nastavu i druženja oba dana vikenda.

Prošle subote njihov trud, znanje i redovnost krunisani su diplomama i priznanjima, a upravo su oni otvorili svečanost učenjem sure En-Nas pred prepunom salom.

Ponosni smo na svako dijete, zahvalni menadžmentu Doma Bjelave na ukazanom povjerenju, mualimi Aldijani Adžem-Džebo na predanom radu, našim volonterkama Senadi Frljak i Nedžmi Selimović, Udruženju Bistri izvor, Stiching Amanet, kao i svim donatorima koji su omogućili realizaciju ovog programa.

🇬🇧❤️ More than twenty children from the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo and the Small Family Homes regularly attended the activities of the Bistri Izvor Association throughout the past school year, participating in classes and social activities on both weekend days.

Last Saturday, their effort, knowledge, and dedication were recognized with diplomas and awards, and they had the honor of opening the ceremony by reciting Surah An-Nas before a packed hall.

We are proud of every child and grateful to the management of Bjelave Home for their trust, to teacher Aldijana Adžem-Džebo for her dedicated work, to our volunteers Senada Frljak and Nedžma Selimović, to the Bistri Izvor Association, Stiching Amanet, and to all donors who made this program possible.

🇧🇦🎁 Ponekad najvrijedniji bajramski poklon nije ono što se nalazi u paketiću.

To je maramica kojom jedna djevojčica briše lice drugoj. Novo prijateljstvo stečeno za jedno veče. Ili ručno napisana čestitka puna zahvalnosti i dova.

Proteklog vikenda djeca iz KJU Dom za djecu bez roditeljskog staranja i malih porodičnih domova uživala su u bajramskim paketićima, igrama, druženju i posebnoj svečanosti koju je za njih pripremilo Udruženje Bistri Izvor.

🇬🇧🎁 Sometimes the most valuable Eid gift is not what is inside a gift package.

It is the tissue one little girl uses to wipe another girl’s face. A new friendship formed in a single evening. Or a handwritten card filled with gratitude and heartfelt prayers.

Last weekend, children from the Cantonal Public Institution Home for Children Without Parental Care Sarajevo and the Small Family Homes enjoyed Eid gift packages, games, social activities, and a special celebration organized for them by the Bistri Izvor Association.

🇧🇦🌙 Drugog dana Kurban-bajrama, zahvaljujući velikodušnosti dva donatora, bajramska radost stigla je na dvije adrese dobra.

Jedan kurban namijenjen je djeci koja borave u Malom porodičnom domu u Ledićima, dok je drugi podijeljen porodicama u riziku koje se svakodnevno bore da osiguraju osnovne životne potrebe i koje veoma rijetko imaju meso na svojoj trpezi.

Hvala svim ljudima velikog srca koji svojim povjerenjem i podrškom omogućavaju da pomoć stigne tamo gdje je najpotrebnija. 🤍

🇬🇧🌙 On the second day of Eid al-Adha, thanks to the generosity of two donors, the joy of Eid reached two destinations of kindness.

One qurbani was dedicated to children staying at the Small Family Home in Ledići, while the other was distributed to vulnerable families who struggle every day to provide basic necessities and who rarely have meat on their table.

🇧🇦🌙 Prvog dana Kurban-bajrama Fondacija Second posjetila je porodicu u riziku u koju je krajem prošle godine reintegrisano šestero djece iz ustanova alternativne brige (KJU Dom za djecu bez roditeljskog staranja i KJU Odgojni centar Kantona Sarajevo)

Porodici su uručeni prehrambeni paketi, bajramski pokloni i kurban, ali prije svega podsjetnik da nisu zaboravljeni i sami. 🤍

Ovakve posjete nisu samo simbolični bajramski obilasci — one predstavljaju stvarnu podršku porodicama koje svakodnevno vode borbu da djeci obezbijede osnovne uslove za život i sačuvaju svoju porodicu na okupu.

🇬🇧🌙 On the first day of Eid al-Adha, Foundation Second visited an at-risk family into which six children were reintegrated from alternative care institutions at the end of last year.

During the visit, the family received food packages, Eid gifts, and qurban meat, but above all, they received a reminder that they are not forgotten and alone. 🤍

These visits are not only symbolic Eid gatherings — they are real support for families who fight every day to provide basic living conditions for their children and to keep their family together.

🇧🇦🌙 Pred Kurban-bajram, Fondacija Second obradovala je dvije porodice u riziku prehrambenim paketima prilagođenim njihovim stvarnim potrebama.

Jedna porodica je samohrana majka koja sama odgaja dvoje djece, dok druga brine o šestero djece. Zahvaljujući podršci naših donatora, pred bajramske dane na njihove adrese stigla je pomoć koja znači više od hrane – osjećaj sigurnosti, podrške i saznanje da nisu sami. 🤍

🇧🇦❤️ Tuzla je proteklog petka bila mjesto važnog susreta ustanova koje brinu o djeci bez roditeljskog staranja iz cijele Bosne i Hercegovine.

Povodom Dana Doma za djecu bez roditeljskog staranja Tuzla obilježeno je 59 godina rada ove ustanove, a istovremeno je potpisan Memorandum o saradnji i osnovana Asocijacija domova Bosne i Hercegovine.

Ponosni smo što će Fondacija Second biti partner novoosnovane Asocijacije i nastaviti pružati podršku projektima koji doprinose kvalitetnijem odrastanju djece i mladih širom naše zemlje. 🤍

🇬🇧❤️ Last Friday, Tuzla became the meeting place for institutions caring for children without parental care from across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the occasion of the Day of the Tuzla Home for Children Without Parental Care, the institution marked its 59th anniversary, while a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed and the Association of Homes of Bosnia and Herzegovina was officially established.

We are proud that Foundation Second will be a partner of the newly established Association and continue supporting projects that contribute to a better future for children and young people throughout our country. 🤍
