Today, we welcomed students from Lesje 🇧🇻, as part of their annual visit to 🇧🇦.

For the fifth consecutive year, the school has included NDC Mostar in its programme, making these visits a valued tradition.

This visit also reflects NDC Mostar’s long-standing cooperation with 🇧🇻 educational institutions, which we continue to maintain and develop.

NDC Mostar had the pleasure of welcoming Robert Hall and Aude Feltz, Long-Term Observers with the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission for the 2026 General Elections in 🇧🇦.

Our discussion focused on the role of civil society in democratic processes, the importance of dialogue and reconciliation and perspectives from local communities ahead of the elections.

Partners from the Peace Leadership Program gathered in Sarajevo from August 17–19 for an in-person meeting to review current progress and map out the next steps for fall 2026.

Discussions focused on evaluating where we are now, addressing challenges, and aligning activities, timelines, and reporting for the upcoming period to ensure our joint efforts remain grounded and effective.

The Peace Leadership Program is implemented by the FBA, in partnership with local organizations Nansen dijalog centar Mostar and Center for Peacebuilding

Elvir Đuliman, Director of NDC Mostar, participated as a panelist at the Dialogue Platform "Learning through Dialogue and Cooperation", organized as part of the UN Peacebuilding Week in 🇧🇦.

As a local partner in the implementation of Dialogue for the Future 3 (DFF3), NDC Mostar contributes to strengthening dialogue, trust and social cohesion by supporting schools, teachers and young people in creating more inclusive learning environments across 🇧🇦.

NDC Mostar participated in a meeting with the NDI Pre-Election Assessment Mission during its visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead of the 2026 General Elections.

Together with representatives of civil society organizations, we discussed the political environment, civic participation, public trust and the role of civil society in strengthening democratic processes.

We were pleased to share perspectives from our work with young people, educators and local communities, highlighting the importance of dialogue, active citizenship and democratic participation.

A pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces and longtime partners at the Nordic Reception 2026.

Representing Nansen Dialogue Centre Mostar, Elvir Đuliman joined colleagues and friends including Haris Idriz from United World College in Mostar, Huso Razić from Srednja Škola Stolac, as well as Rahela Dzidic - a longtime colleague whose work on educational and dialogue programmes at the United States Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina left a lasting impact on many of us ❤️

🎙️ Gostovali smo na platformi BHRT Omladinskog programa!

U razgovoru za BHRT govorili smo o mirovnom kampu „Dijalogom do promjena: Mladi pokreću zajednice“, koji je okupio mlade iz Mostara i Stoca s ciljem jačanja dijaloga, saradnje i aktivnog učešća mladih u svojim zajednicama.

Kroz radionice, zajednički rad i razmjenu iskustava, učesnici su razvijali konkretne ideje i inicijative za pozitivne promjene u lokalnim zajednicama.

Recently, NDC Mostar hosted a group of students from the University of Redlands (California 🇺🇸) as part of their educational visit to 🇧🇦.

During the visit, the students learned more about NDC's peacebuilding initiatives and community reconciliation models. The presentation was followed by an interactive workshop, where participants showed strong engagement, critical thinking and teamwork through practical group activities.

Through cooperation with universities and academic networks worldwide, NDC Mostar continues to foster dialogue, learning, and international exchange.

Direktor NDC-a Mostar Elvir Đuliman govorio je za eTrafika.net o izazovima obrazovanja i podjela u BiH.
Tema zajedničkog obrazovanja i prostora za dijalog među mladima ostaje jedno od ključnih pitanja za budućnost društva.

„Kad se učenici znaju, puno je manja šansa da će doći do nekih konflikta. Ako vi imate neki jaz i sliku drugog kao nekog protivnika, kao nekog neprijatelja, puno je lakše da dođe do napada, nepovjerenja, do mržnje. Ako vi izgradite odnos gdje taj drugi nije neprijatelj, nego neko koga ja znam, s kim sam se upoznao, da ima ljudsko lice… Što se bolje upoznamo, manje ćemo se mrziti”, naglašava, između ostalog, Elvir Đuliman.

Obrazovni sistem „dvije škole pod jednim krovom“ je kao tema već 30 godina eksploatisan u javnom prostoru Bosne i Hercegovine. Može se reći da su ljudi već umorni od razgovora o njemu, ali da i dalje nisu potpuno upućeni u sve njegove dijelove.
