Our work is not always easy, but having the friends of AVIP .v.i.p.santangelo by our side for so many years makes the challenges less heavy 🇮🇹🇧🇦
Between Bingo in the Family Zone of the Lipa transit camp and the outing with the minors from the IPSIA House, we spent moments of normality in a context that has very little that is normal. Thank you for your concrete support and for being with us once again, with your usual availability and friendship.

Tra il Bingo nella Family Zone del campo di transito di Lipa e la gita con i minori della Casa di IPSIA, abbiamo passato momenti di normalità in un contesto che di normale ha ben poco. Grazie per il concreto supporto e per essere stati con noi ancora una volta, con la disponibilità e l’amicizia di sempre.

🌙 During the month of Ramadan we had the chance to enjoy Iftars in our Center for minors, in Lipa and in restaurant around Bihać.
It was a great opportunity to share time, meals, and a sense of community throughout the month.
We’re grateful to all the people, restaurants, and organizations who contributed and those who participated.
We wrapped it up by distributing Edija packs in our Social Cafe and by celebrating Eid in our House for minors—cooking and celebrating all together 🌙

We have started conducting weekly outreach and monitoring activities at the border with Croatia, in partnership with JRS, supporting people on the move.

Our teams assist individuals and families in distress, providing aid and transportation from the border area to the camp to ensure access to safety and basic services.

Through this joint effort, we continue working to uphold dignity, solidarity and humanitarian assistance for those facing difficult journeys. 🤝👥

Position Title: Legal Guardian

Details: the new legal guardian, along with the rest of the team, will be responsible for providing psycho-social support in IPSIA house for vulnerable categories of children, daily ensuring the provision of high quality services for their wellbeing and protection.

U Bihaću je 12. i 13. decembra 2025. godine održan festival „Čuvari prirode“, u sklopu projekta „Via delle Cascate – Putevima vodopada“. 💧🌿

Kroz kulturne sadržaje zajedno smo slavili vodu kao simbol povezivanja, održivosti i zajedničkog razvoja. Festival je okupio građane, mlade, partnere i zaljubljenike u prirodu s ciljem jačanja svijesti o značaju očuvanja naših prirodnih bogatstava.

Projekat finansira Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS), implementira CISP u partnerstvu sa IPSIA BiH, a festival je organizovan u suradnji sa Turističkom zajednicom Grada Bihaća.

Prisjetimo se dijela atmosfere sa festivala kroz sljedeći kratki video koji donosi djelić energije, zajedništva i inspirativnih trenutaka posvećenih vodi kao simbolu povezivanja i održivosti. 🌊✨

In Bihać, from 12-13 December 2025, the festival “Guardians of Nature” was held as part of the project “Via delle Cascate” .💧🌿

Through cultural activities, we came together to celebrate water as a symbol of connection, sustainability, and shared development. The festival brought together citizens, young people, partners, and nature enthusiasts to raise awareness about the importance of preserving our natural treasures.

The project is funded by Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) and implemented by CISP in partnership with IPSIA BiH, while the festival was organized in cooperation with the Tourist Board of the City of Bihać.

Let’s revisit part of the festival atmosphere through the following short video, capturing a glimpse of the energy, togetherness, and inspiring moments dedicated to water as a symbol of connection and sustainability. 🌊✨

Yesterday we were in Loznica, Serbia, to commemorate people on the move who lost their lives in the Drina river.

This one is a key step of the Balkan route, as the river trace the border between Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina.
Crossing it represents a deadly threat to people on the move attempting to reach Bosnia Herzegovina, towards Central Europe and a better future it.

Around 80 of the bodies have been found in the last couple of year and buried in the Bosnian and Serbian municipalities around the river. .dahin, and have joined forces to bury the people with dignity, possibly respecting their religions’ transitions and associating the names and surnames, and to get in touch with the families. In the best of cases, repatriation has been organized and implemented successfully, however it is an expensive and difficult procedure.

Yesterday we celebrated the memory of 25 between men, women and children at the Christian cemetery and the Muslim cementery in Loznica together with the religion institutions, ngos and civil society.

In the words of the Mohammad Hilal - brother of Ahmed Hilal (30 yo) and uncle of Lana Hilal (1yo) who lost their lives in a shipwreck in Drina river in 2024:

“This tragedy is not just the story of one family, but a painful message to the entire world. From this place, I make a sincere appeal to all governments around the world and all institutions dealing with refugee issues: Look at refugees with eyes of humanity before laws, and with hearts of compassion before borders. Refugees are not numbers or bureaucratic procedures, but human beings with dreams, children, mothers, and the right to live with dignity and safety. Creating safe and legal pathways can save innocent lives and prevent similar tragedies from recurring.”

🌍December 18th INTERNATIONAL MIGRANTS DAY🌎

We want to take this day as a moment of reflection on the conditions and the state of migration today.
In our world, migration is object of despise, hate and criminalization by the mainstream media and politics.

We strongly believe that migration, on the opposite side, is natural phenomenon that shouldn’t be stopped rather embraced socially and culturally, above all, in the name of human dignity and respect of equal rights.

Today, as every other, we take a stand against any form of violence, violation and injustice against people on the move.

We proudly stand with all the people and organization who makes space for humanity, respect and community.

U subotu, 13.12., u okviru pratećeg programa Festivala „Čuvari prirode“, u Kulturnom centru Bihać, s početkom u 19:00 sati, održan je muzički dio programa „Muzika koja teče“ – večer inspirisana vodom, prirodom i povezivanjem ljudi kroz umjetnost.

U muzičkom programu nastupili su Ansambl „Prijatelji sa Une“ Bihać, Prijatelji tambure te Tamburaški sastav Bedem, koji su publici priredili bogat i emotivan muzički doživljaj. 🎶🎶

Festival „Čuvari prirode“ organizovan je u sklopu projekta „Via delle Cascate – Putevima vodopada“, koji je finansirala Italijanska agencija za razvojnu saradnju (AICS), a implementirao CISP u partnerstvu sa IPSIA BiH, u saradnji sa Turističkom zajednicom Grada Bihaća.

U okviru Festivala „Čuvari prirode“, u subotu 13.12. godine održan je okrugli stol na temu „Betoniranje obala rijeka“ u prostoru Business Studio Bihać.

Tokom diskusije učesnici su govorili o štetnim uticajima betoniranja riječnih obala na vodne ekosisteme, biodiverzitet i lokalne zajednice, kao i o društvenoj i institucionalnoj odgovornosti u procesu zaštite prirodnih resursa. 🏞️

Okrugli stol okupio je predstavnike institucija, organizacija civilnog društva i stručne javnosti s ciljem razmjene iskustava, jačanja saradnje i definisanja narednih koraka ka dugoročnom i održivom upravljanju riječnim ekosistemima.
