Atlantis KV ATLANTIS KV provides space for international artists, open-minded visitors and local workers to try new ways of living based on sustainable principles.

Local and international guests are welcome to relax, enjoy the beautiful Una National Park and contribute to the project by doing, learning or donating. As we are community-oriented, we developed principles that can be commented, joined or edited. The project is located within a large factory in Kulen Vakuf, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Having been built as a factory under the Tito regime, its location

within the Una National Park is unique and allows for a range of leisure activities such as rafting, hiking and bike tours. The huge warehouse next to the factory highlights all art projects realised within ATLANTIS KV: murals, paintings, handicraft, textile production and screen printing. In regards to agriculture and ecology, staff members and visitors engage in a variety of projects such as planting, gardening and the production of goat cheese, milk, jam, dried fruits, corn flour and liqueur. In order to reach out to a widespread audience, the official language of this page is English. The comments, opinions and images posted by our followers do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Atlantis vcap d.o.o. or its members. It does not matter where the Ancient Atlantis was. May be by highlighting this aspect and calling us 'Museum' we will be able to attract more visitors in order to at least pay our bills for electricity, water, licenses and so on.

a nice gesture in Kulen Vakuf: a present, a donation from Haris of Kalati, some call him Lord Haris.
He invested in Kulen Vakuf, renovates at the moment the petrol station and gave us this fuel pump for our Ethno Museum.
For me it will be a sweet memory, using it for nearly 15 years, a retro design. Thank you.

Beside, I feel if NP Una and the government would support him (more), he could do a lot so that we have tourists the whole year and not only for 3 months.

another kind of wall decoration that you can find in Kulen Vakuf are murals, inspired by our Local Artist Support, made by Ismar Vojić who was one of the participants and winners in our first art event, The Drum Painting Competition, and Mehmed Sijldedić. He is a local self-educated artist, who was motivated to paint on our walls and later inspired by the effects he and Ismar got jobs to paint walls in the village.

The reason why I said, that there must be an active Graffiti scene in Sarajevo, is not because you see so many paintings all over between Baščaršija and the National Museum, but because there are so many simple works, tags, scribbles etc, which means that a lot of people are involved, who kind of form a base, act like a humus from which masters grow, who do first class pieces.

It seems also, that the people and City Government have a tolerance for this Street Art.

KRAK Centar za savremenu kulturu published a story about us in the 2nd issue of their magazine. We have copies for seeing the whole article with photos in our library and shop. The whole magazine is worth to look because of its high standard of graphic design. The text is a work of Irfan Hošić which is as usual very informative, a continuation and deepening of his thoughts expressed in his books 'Retrography of Design' and 'Design in Crisis' as well as his presentation about 'Contextualistion of AtlantisBebiProjekt (ABP)', which is on our you-tube-channel.
