“Region” International Analytical Centre (RIAC) is a Baku-based think-tank in Azerbaijan working on policy issues in Post-Soviet Space. RIAC is capable of influencing public policy at both the regional and national levels. Think-tanks so far haven’t been able to lobby successfully the government for policy changes. There are very few think tanks that provide independent analyses of public policy i
ssues and civil society has not yet been able to foster large-scale public debates and discussions. In most cases analysis are not provided to policymakers at the time important issues are under deliberation. It also studies the impact of climate change on the politics, use of art and culture as well as social media tools on the emerging democracies. RIAC organizes round tables, seminars, conferences and other events to bring together policy-makers ad experts to discuss the issues of interest for both parties within the RIAC mission context. The interesting fact about RIAC: RIAC is going to be the first think-tank to deal not only with European Integration, but also with Asian integration. Azerbaijan is located at the cross-roads of Europe and Asia. Most of people also feel like Asians and therefore, it is utmost priority for RIAC to study the Asian countries and their potential relationship and cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Центр занимается аналитикой и геополитическим исследованием, подготовкой рекомендаций и научных работ по существующим конфликтам и Европейской интеграции пост-советского пространства, включая Южно-Кафказский регион.
А так же, центр ведёт исследование по воздействию климатических изменений на политические процессы, и воздействие искусства, культуры и интернет медиа на развивющиеся страны. "Регион" организует общественные дебаты, конференции, семинары и другие мероприятия.

“Region” Beynəlxalq Analitik Mərkəz (RBAM) Azərbaycanda və regionda əsas beyin mərkəzlərindən biri kimi fəaliyyət göstərir. Cənubi Qafqaz da daxil olmaqla, köhnə post-sovet məkanı üzrə geosiyasi təhlillərin aparılması, mövcud münaqişələrin həlli istiqamətində tövsiyyələrin, ölkənin Avropaya inteqrasiyası yönümündə siyasət sənədlərinin hazırlanmasını həyata keçirir. Bununla yanaşı, RBAM həm də iqlim dəyişikliyinin siyasətə təsiri üzrə araşdırmalar aparır, incəsənət və mədəniyyət, sosial media elementlərininin inkişaf etməkdə olan ölkələrə təsirini öyrənir, o cümlədən ictimai müzakirələr, konfranslar, seminarlar və digər tədbirlər təşkil edir.
