We are committed to educating and raising awareness about clima

te issues in local languages, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for diverse communities. Through localized, multilingual workshops, sessions, and community engagements, we focus on climate change education, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and community empowerment. Our diverse team is dedicated to fostering a sustainable and resilient future, ensuring that every voice is heard and every community is prepared to face the challenges of a changing climate. Youth are the heartbeat of our present and the architects of our future!

On , Youth for Climate Resilient Pakistan marked the occasion by hosting an engaging online webinar. We were honored to welcome esteemed guest speakers, all of whom are dedicated advocates in the field of climate change.

Our highlighted a powerful message: the youth are not just the future but the present force driving climate action. Their discussions underscored the importance of youth leadership in addressing the urgent challenges climate change poses. They emphasized that climate advocacy must be brought to the local level, where communities can be educated in their languages—only then will real change be possible. The event reinforced our commitment to empowering young people to lead the way in building a sustainable and resilient future for Pakistan.

LCOY KP was held on July 29, 2024, at NCEG, University of Peshawar, with over 400 participants. Mr. led a session on COP IN MY CITY, informing about how they can amplify their from local to international levels, emphasizing that taking action on climate change is crucial. 95% attendees were unaware of the COP IN MY CITY program, but now they have the opportunity to apply and make their voices heard.

COP IN MY CITY Pakistan is an incredible program run by Youth4Climate Pakistan for the Federal Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Protection.
Over five months, the 2024 program will provide:

✅ Specialized training in climate policy led by industry experts
✅ Networking and capacity-building opportunities for pre- and early-career climate change activists and professionals
✅ The chance to represent Pakistan at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan

Last year, as winners of the National COP IN MY CITY Pakistan round, we were supported by , , to represent our country alongside participants like , , , , , , , and . This experience taught us which avenues of climate policy to engage with or avoid.

Deadline - August 5th, 2024.
Applicants from all over Pakistan are welcome, and the program will be run in all provinces, including GB and AJK.
