“Youth Beam” Youth Development Public Union (YB) is a local non-governmental organization. Union has been founded by the number of active youth in March, 2006. The Union has been registered at the Ministry of Justice on December 29th, 2006. YB is Politically non-aligned, independent children and youth organization of Azerbaijan providing its activities based on the principles of respect to law, op
enness, independent self-managing, voluntary service, equality of its members. YB’s mission of the statement is “Empowering youth to meet tomorrow’s challenges today”
Goal of the Union is to unify the active youth of Azerbaijani society, to forward theirs energy; ability; knowledge and initiative for creating strong, democratic and open and civil society in order to contribute to eliminating social, economic and other outstanding challenges which are the barriers for the personal and professional development of youth in the society. Objectives of the Union
To unify the active youth of Azerbaijan and to forward their energy, ability, knowledge and initiatives for creating strong and democratic society. To defense the rights of youth and work for their social protection
To work for promoting mutual understanding and peace building among the children and youth
To provide the vulnerable youth with the appropriate services and conduct effective rehabilitation and social reintegration projects
To involve youth to the voluntariness movement. To fight for human rights defense, for open society civil society building. To launch environmental projects and involvement of youth
To support the youth with special needs and to strive for the social inclusion of them
To organize efficiently leisure time for youth
We believe that, there is a bright “BEAM” in the inner life of every youth. Our aim is to render them for finding this bright “BEAM” in the inside of every youth and as a result to achieve the development. As a “Youth Beam” Youth Development Public Union we believe that, Youth being leading power of society will make our world interesting and wonderful with shining variegated “BEAM”s. We want that, every youth to discover this “BEAM” in their inner life and more decorate our world with theirs variegated “BEAM“. At that time youth will pride to live, to develop and to solve easily all problems which is difficult for him. “Youth Beam” will light up the way taking to the youth development and will help them to find the right way by ruining it to the light.
