🇦🇿 «Elektrik və Elektronika Mühəndisliyi – İzahlı Terminlər Lüğəti» layihəsinə start verildi!

Layihə ADA Universitetinin İnformasiya texnologiyaları və mühəndislik fakültəsinin baş müəllimi Orxan Kərimzadənin təşəbbüsü və ADA Universiteti Fondunun dəstəyi ilə həyata keçirilir.

Layihənin məqsədi Azərbaycan dilində ilk geniş həcmli Elektrik və Elektronika Mühəndisliyi izahlı terminlər lüğətinin hazırlamaqdır.

Lüğət “Oxford EEE Dictionary” əsasında tərtib olunacaq və mövcud milli mühəndislik terminologiyasının elmi əsaslarla sistemləşdirilməsinə xidmət edəcək.

Lüğət ölkəmizdə elektrik və elektronika mühəndisliyi üzrə ilk izahlı terminlər toplusu olacaq və gələcək nəsil alim və mühəndislər üçün mühüm istinad mənbəyinə çevriləcək.

🇺🇸 Launch of the “Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Explanatory Terminology Dictionary” Project!

Project is being carried out on the initiative of Orkhan Karimzada, Assistant Professor at ADA University’s School of Information Technologies and Engineering, with the support of the ADA University Foundation.

The aim of the project is to develop the first comprehensive Electrical and Electronics Engineering Explanatory Terminology Dictionary in the Azerbaijani language.

The dictionary will be developed using the “Oxford EEE Dictionary” as a reference and will help organize existing national engineering terminology in a structured and scientifically grounded way.

It will be the first explanatory glossary of electrical and electronics engineering terms in Azerbaijan and will become a valuable resource for future scientists and engineers.

The President of ADA University Foundation Mr. Natig Hajiyev, and Prof. Matteo Vittuari - Dean of the School of Agricultural and Food Sciences of .university welcomed the Chairman of Agro Food Investments to explore new joint collaboration opportunities.

During the meeting sides discussed partnership prospects, sustainable development and the creation of meaningful learning opportunities for students.

“Əslində bu proqram mənə çox şey öyrətdi və mənim dərs keçmə metodumu belə qismən dəyişdi. İnteraktiv oyunlarla onları sakitləşdirə, sinfin ab-havasını dəyişə bildik. Lakin ən qısa olaraq qeyd etsəm:

Şagirdlərin, xüsusən də yeniyetmələrin davranışını daha yaxşı anlayıb onları yönləndirə bildiyimi düşünürəm. Hansı ki, öz potensiallarını aqressiya olmadan ortaya qoya bildilər.”

The final chapter of the Project

Together with our partner bp we continue strengthening mental health awareness and capacity across Azerbaijan’s schools thorough our joint Mental Health Support training program.

As the fourth and final group of teachers begins their training, we celebrate the impact this program has already made - bringing together around 60 teachers from 19 regions, all united by one mission: to learn, to share, and to help.

We strongly believe that by supporting teachers, we build stronger, more inclusive, and emotionally resilient classrooms for every child.

On 8th of October ADA University hosted a presentation ceremony for JestPlus, a new mobile application designed to facilitate the learning of Azerbaijani Sign Language.

The initiative, carried out by .university and the ADA University Foundation, is supported by bp and its partners, as well as the mobile operator Nar, and aims to promote inclusivity.

The launch event featured remarks from Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anar Bayramov, ADA University Vice-Rector Fariz Ismailzade, ADA University Foundation President Natig Hajiyev, bp Vice President for the Caspian Region Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, and Nar Director of Public and Corporate Communications Hokuma Karimova.
plus goes beyond basic instruction, offering a pedagogically structured platform with lessons, interactive tasks, and tests. The app features 789 videos, 358 sign words, 27 illustrative images, and 32 animations to help users build practical communication skills.

Technical support for the app was provided by ADA University graduates, and data collection was conducted in collaboration with the “Support for the Deaf” Public Union. The application will soon be available to anyone interested in learning Azerbaijani Sign Language.
