STREETS CENTRE
We would like to inform you that the DAY CARE Centre “Ishiqli Ev” Street Children is implementing social-psychological rehabilitation PROGRAM for “CHILDREN WORKING AND LIVING STREETS” which started to have been carried out since June 2002 at the address 14 B, A.Alakbarov Street, Baku. The bitter truth of today is the neglected state of children. Neglected children need the surrounding people`s care, their understanding and due kindness. Being the supporting Centre for the Baku City`s under age children, the social-rehabilitation Center is the Asylum for the children experienced all kind of difficulties of the life. We found out due to our observations than many of the children of streets don`t have their parents, they have nowhere to live, nobody waits for them and they don`t even have any documents. Social rehabilitation means bringing the children back to valuable ethics. And this leads to their recognition as personalities. We are ready to cooperate with all companies. We are pleased to receive and discuss the offers of any organization. We use “our” am resources our Centre for the activity. We provide the children with clothes and foods in the frame of the our opportunities. We try to create conditions to study for the children who give up school. The psychologist, the doctor, the teacher in our centre work as volunteers. Although we had offered projects for grant programs but we haven`t got grant yet. Our Centre has got limited chances to carry out there works. The Centre involves the Children in social-psychological rehabilitation. In 2003 year our “Ishiqli Ev” football team won the 4th place and volley-ball team won the 3rd place in Baku Competition which the of Youth, Sports and Tourism Baku Offices organized.
2. To involve the children in different kind of Sport groups.
3. Holding lessons for Children which gave up schools.
4. “Miraculous Colors club” assists to find children`s capability which draw pictures.
5. “Culture of behavior” debate.
6. “Contacts and skills” club assists to the children to return to the normal life. Our plans:
1. To improve providing Children of streets with hot food and clothes.
2. To organize hot line.
3. Expansion of work with children of streets which undergo violence.
4. To Edit “Ishiqli Ev” magazine.
5. To organize profession training for involved in the Centre Children.
6. Expansion of cooperation with international donor and humane organization.
