We are proud to announce that our OnCampus Competition 2026 has been successfully held🚀

We had the privilege of welcoming esteemed judges and experts from the Innovation Division within Strategic Management and Innovations Department of SOCAR, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, and the Innovation and Research Center of Baku Higher Oil School.

💡After an intense and inspiring day of innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit, our student teams presented outstanding startup ideas with strong impact potential and had the opportunity to receive valuable feedback from the juries.

As part of a partnership between Hult Prize BHOS and KFUPM, we are excited to invite you to apply to Venture Craft – an international deep-tech startup competition organized by KFUPM (King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals) in collaboration with DTV (Dhahran Techno Valley).

Venture Craft empowers student-driven startups to develop science and technology innovations with global impact, with this year’s primary focus on Sustainable Energy 🌱

💰Awards:
✔️Grand Prize: $100,000
✔️2nd Place: $60,000
✔️3rd Place: $40,000
✔️Corporate Special Awards: $15,000 per award (x3)

🚀 Hult Prize On-Campus Competition Is Starting!

The Hult Prize is one of the world’s most prestigious student competitions, empowering young innovators to solve real global challenges through entrepreneurship — with a $1,000,000 USD global prize.

The On-Campus Competition is the first stage of the Hult Prize journey. Students form teams and develop startup ideas aligned with this year’s official Hult Prize challenge. The winning team from our campus will advance to the next international stages, including regional summits and global accelerators.

📅 Competition Date: 24 February
⏰ Time: 13:00
📌 Important Notes:

• Participants’ class absences will be officially considered, so you can join the competition comfortably.
• There will be a special on-campus round exclusively for BHOS students.
• Even if students from different universities participate, they will compete together representing one common university.

✨ Hult Prize Info Day was successfully held!

During the event, our Campus Director Chingiz Mamadov provided detailed information about the structure of the Hult Prize competition, participation requirements, and the selection stages. Participants learned how to take part in this global social entrepreneurship challenge both locally and internationally.

In a warm and engaging atmosphere, as Organizing Committee members and previous year's On Campus Program participants — Khayala Miriyeva and Leman Mehtiyeva shared their valuable experiences. They not only spoke about Hult Prize but also discussed their journeys in other prestigious competitions, offering helpful advice to the attendees.

Our special guest, the Head of the University’s İnnovation and Research Department, Ms. Emiliya Ahmadova, also joined us and provided insightful recommendations for students, motivating them to strive for even greater achievements 💡

📌 What will participants learn?

1️⃣ What is the Hult Prize?
You will learn about the purpose of the Hult Prize, its mission, history, competition structure, and stages.

2️⃣ How to form a team?
We will explain how to build an effective team, assign roles, and prepare strategically for the competition.

3️⃣ Experience sharing from last year’s OnCampus participants
Students who competed in last year’s OnCampus round will share their real experiences, lessons learned, challenges, and valuable tips. You will also have the chance to ask them your questions directly.

4️⃣ Insights from grant winners and SDG-focused startup founders
Students who have won grants and participated in major competitions will present their projects and share practical advice on idea generation, development, and pitching.

5️⃣ BHOS achievements in the Hult Prize
We will highlight our university’s accomplishments, including teams that represented BHOS at international stages. This will inspire you and help you understand what it takes to bring your own idea to life.

On February 7, we had the honor of organizing the Hult Prize OnCampus Competition, where 10 outstanding startup teams competed for a chance to advance to the Global Summits and proudly represent our university.

We were privileged to welcome our university’s Rector, Elmar Gasimov, esteemed judges and experts from various organizations, leading specialists from the Research and Innovation Center, and many enthusiastic students who joined us to celebrate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. Seeing so many Hult Prize enthusiasts at our event was truly inspiring!
