A Heartfelt Farewell from The Hub at San Nicolas

After five meaningful years of serving our community, The Hub at San Nicolas will officially close its doors on December 19.

From the beginning, The Hub was created as a place where creativity, faith, culture, and community could come alive. Over the years, this space became a vibrant home for faith gatherings, worship nights, jazz concerts, creative workshops, community meetings, art experiences, and quiet moments over a simple cup of coffee.

We have witnessed stories shared, ideas birthed, dreams nurtured, and lives uplifted.
Serving San Nicolas has been one of our greatest honors.

To every partner who collaborated with us,
to every organization that trusted us with their events,
to every student, entrepreneur, artist, musician, and maker who used our workspaces,
and to every person who simply stopped by for a warm drink and a warm welcome —
thank you.
You helped shape The Hub into the living, breathing community space it became.

As we close our chapter at this location, our faith remains rooted in the assurance that our mission of service to the Community of San Nicolas will find a new home in the near future and we shall re-emerge stronger than ever and better equipped to demonstrate love in creative action.

Thank you, San Nicolas, for believing in us.
Thank you for five unforgettable years.
This is not goodbye… only “see you soon.”

Calling all potential Youth Entrepreneurs!

SC3 kicks off its "Let's rise together, Let's thrive together" campaign with its first event and launch next week, November 15th.
Our Youth Entrepreneurship Program is a part of one of the three components of this campaign: Financial Literacy.

Our financial literacy component of the campaign focuses on increasing financial literacy in the San Nicolas community and empowering young people aged 18–35 to create sustainable businesses. With rising living costs and limited employment opportunities, it is critical to equip the community with the skills to manage personal finances, reduce debt, plan for the future, and build income-generating ventures.

Through four core financial literacy workshops, a Youth Entrepreneurship Program, and a mentorship network, participants will gain the knowledge, tools,
and support to turn ideas into reality.

So, are you a young entrepreneur from 'P'ariba di brug', between 18 and 35 with an idea, a hustle, or a dream? Then this is your moment.

Dear friends, partners, and community members,

For the month of August, operations at The Hub at San Nicolas will be taking a moment to Selah — to pause, reflect, regroup, and restrategize. Just as we encourage our community to rest and reset, we too are leaning into a time of intentional stillness.

This past Saturday, The Hub at San Nicolas was buzzing with creativity and purpose as we hosted our *Denim Re-Do* Creative Workshop! 💙👖

It was an inspiring morning filled with thoughtful conversations and hands-on creativity as participants explored innovative ways to repurpose old denim—proving that fashion can be both expressive *and* sustainable.

From upcycled accessories to one-of-a-kind bags and statement pieces, everyone walked away with something unique—and a deeper understanding of how small changes can make a meaningful environmental impact.
Special thank you to our assistants for the day OmOmaira SilvaSolaica Clarinda & Tammy Richardson for guiding the creative process.

Thank you to all who joined us in re-doing the blue. Let’s keep creating and caring for our planet—one stitch at a time.
