A huge win for dingoes yesterday — and a moment that’s been a long time coming.

Well done to Aussie Ark Managing Director Tim Faulkner, along with the many advocates, scientists, ecologists, landholders and broader dingo community who have continued pushing for a more balanced conversation around dingoes and ecosystem health in Australia.

Only two weeks ago, Tim submitted a detailed letter regarding dingo management and ecological function within the Barrington Tops region. Today’s announcement is a spectacular outcome and reflects the combined efforts of many people who care deeply about the future of Australia’s natural systems.

This is not just a win for dingoes — it’s a win for healthier ecosystems, better ecological conversations, and a more science-based future for conservation in Australia.
