Yapa-Kurlangu Ngurrara Aboriginal Corporation Yapa-Kurlangu Ngurrara Aboriginal Corporation is a Warlpiri organisation dedicated to the care and maintenance of the regions outstations and its people

Yapa-Kurlangu Ngurrara Aboriginal Corporation was created in response to demand from the residents of Yuendumu and surrounding outstation communities for an organisation dedicated to the care and maintenance of the region's outstations and its people. There is an extraordinary amount of goodwill towards the new organisation within Yuendumu. This derives from a feeling of genuine ownership and an equally genuine commitment to remain engaged with country and to ensure that children receive the right encouragement and support to engage with country as well. Mental and physical health and the cultural benefits of outstation residency are afforded primacy in all discussions and planning. YKNAC strives to be more than an Outstation Resource Centre. The opportunity is there to engage a locally based Indigenous organisation to undertake a range of functions.
