A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and supporters who were involved with our Art, Craft & Gift Market today. Whether you donated, cooked, helped on the day, held a stall or came along to browse and buy - your input was greatly valued! The $1600 we raised will help us to continue making our beautiful menstrual health kits for women and girls around the world and here in Australia. Thank you all so much!

Thanks to our amazing community, and everyone who voted, Days for Girls Australia received the most votes in the Nespresso Care for You Fund!

A huge thank you to Nespresso for creating this incredible opportunity to support local charities. Because of your initiative, Nespresso will be donating $15,000 to help us continue providing reusable menstrual Kits and menstrual health education to girls and women in Australia and across the Pacific.

And, of course, a massive thank you to everyone who voted and shared, your support makes all the difference!

Last weekend we celebrated our 11th anniversary with birthday cake at our kit-making day morning tea! Congratulations and well done to all the volunteers who have contributed and supported our team over the years. Thank you so much!

Our annual Mothers' Day Morning Tea was a huge success with almost 100 people attending! Thanks to catering by the Longford Bowls Club we all enjoyed lots of yummy food and all our volunteers were able to relax and enjoy themselves. I am very grateful to all those who worked behind the scenes to make the day successful, from organising raffle prizes, selling tickets, accepting bookings, preparing the trade tables, setting up, baking, preserving etc, and to all who helped on the day. Many thanks to everyone who came along, bought raffle tickets and found themselves a bargain on our trade tables. We raised the amazing sum of $3295.53, a great team & community effort! Well done all!

What a lovely day we enjoyed today at the Riverside Golf Club! My thanks to Julie from Sues of Invermay's My Style Work Shop for supporting Days for Girls at her Fashion Parade Lunch today. Over $2000 was raised for our chapter! This will enable us to keep sewing and putting together our beautiful kits for women and girls around the world. Many thanks to all who attended, donated, bought raffle tickets and made the highest bid at our silent auction. I would also like to pass on my thanks to the wonderful people and businesses who donated prizes, and to our amazing volunteers who helped to make this possible. Thank you all!
