Are you to up to having a go at designing this years Dubbo Zoo Sleep-out Badge????

We need YOUR creativity for something pretty special…

Guides aged 10–17, this is your chance to design this year’s GGS badge – are you ready to take it on?

There’s plenty of room to make it your own, but every design needs to include:
👉 ‘Great Guide Sleepover 2026’ clearly featured
☘️ The Girl Guide Trefoil
🫶 Our conservation focus animal for this year… the Regent Honeyeater!
💬 A catchy slogan using alliteration – think along the lines of “Honeyeaters, H____ & H____” to capture the spirit of the event!

You can enter as many designs as you like, with submissions closing Tuesday 30 June. One lucky winner will receive an awesome gift pack and bragging rights for creating this year’s GGS badge!

We would love to welcome any new girls ages 7-10 for Junior Guides, 10-14 for Guides & 14-18 for Senior Guides. We meet every Wednesday during school terms, from 4.30- 6.30pm.
Adult women welcome to join our Leadership Team as Volunteers, Unit Helpers or gain your own leadership qualifications & join in the awesome FUN that Guiding offers.

Young Girl Guides would like to thank the Young Anglers Club for their generous donation of $1000 last night.

We are incredibly grateful for their support of Guiding. These funds will be used for Leader First Aid/CPR Training as well as outstanding expenses we have in relation to Fire Safety Reports required to have our Hall approved for overnight stays.

Yes, Term 1 starts this week for Young Girl Guides Young NSW.

We are SO looking forward to another great & FUN year for all our Young Guide & Junior Members,
We’ll be going canoeing, camping, sleeping out at Dubbo Zoo, cooking indoors & outdoors, earning badges if that interests us, meeting & making new friends in our community through Guiding🥳👏😍🤣
