It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Helen Giles on the weekend.
Helen was a great character and was a very vital part of York Old Time Dance Group until her health made it impossible to continue dancing.
She was, as far as I remember, a foundation member of the dance group and was awarded Life Membership in recognition of her huge contribution over many, many years.
We remember her with great joy.

It is with great love and sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved Old Nanna, Helen Giles.
A beautiful lady with a cheeky sense of humour, a love of a good laugh, and a little mischievous streak that kept us all on our toes. She lived a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, family and so many treasured memories.
Our family will be celebrating her life at a funeral service on Monday 19th October at 2.30pm, with details attached.
