🙌 Next Friday 16 May 2025 is National Walk Safely to School Day! Anyone who may wish to walk with our York Blue Light Team Police Officers on our walking school bus is most welcome to Join us from York Police Station leaving at 8:00am sharp (or join us along the way).

We will be walking along Avon Tce and then down South St to York District High School. Crossing at the traffic warden of course! The concept of a walking school bus is you can join us (walking) at any point along the route. We kindly ask that children ages K - Year 2 are supervised by a parent to enable us all to walk safely. This is a great opportunity to walk to school and stretch those little legs prior to the assembly on Friday morniYork District High Schoolrict High School and Mr Baker for extending us an invite to get involved in the fun, we hope to see some friendly faces next Friday morning for our walk to school! Make sure to arrive on time to get your (temporary) WSTSD tattoo. 🙌

Some great school holiday action thanks to Avon Community Services and Shire of York tomorrow at York Recreation Centre. Get down and try out the two great sports of Pickleball and Floorball. Get down and show some support to these great organisations creating experiences for young people in our community! Well done to all involved for making these great opportunities available to empower young people to reach their potential and have some great fun along the way! 👏
