Bringing their all with the legendary moves, grooves and that iconic Arnhem Land flair, they had everyone dancing in the sand 🎤✨🪩

✨ FESTIVAL DAY IS HERE! ✨

After an incredible night warming up at our Youth Disco 🪩 it’s almost time for the main event!

🔥 Opening Buŋgul will commence around sunset (approx 6pm)

🍔 Yirrkala Community Store and Take Away will be open til late serving up a tasty festival menu!

🛍️ Market stalls will be open from 5:30pm, including local wares, icy treats and our 2025 Yarrapay T-Shirts (you will want to be fast for these!)

🧺 Bring your chairs, yapa mats or picnic rugs and settle in for a night to remember, celebrating our incredible local culture and talents!

You and your friends will not want to miss out on dhapirrk art activities with The Bait Fridge, a junior footy match on the oval with AFL Gove, a FREE sausage sizzle & face painting (did we forget to mention the amazing dance comp prizes up for grabs?!) See you there!

🏈 Show off your future AFL star talents on the oval with a Junior match kicking off at 4:30pm

🎨 Get creative with our friends from The Bait Fridge who are back in town & ready to inspire you with another of their hit interactive sessions. Find them outside of Buku-Larrngay Mulka Centre.

🕺🏽 Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to win one of the awesome prizes up for grabs! Hosted by DJ Voodoo Dredd and Lirriŋa Mununggurr, the beats will be pumping from 7pm at the Roy Marika stage.

🥩 All the fun making you hungry? A free BBQ will be sizzling from 5:30pm near the art centre.
