A note from Val about canteen:

All your super kind comments - thank you! It really is helpful.

Chris - I agree with the souvlaki. Is that because I'm Greek? Hot dogs are a wonder to me, but OK!

Andrew - those meatball subs can't go, Billy wouldn't stand for it.

Greg - there is a joy in having left-overs and being able to feed some Clubbies beyond lunch. That may also be because I'm Greek, we show care and love with food! But you're right, I prefer the profit for the Club!

JUNE MENU decision: Meatball Subs + Baked Potatoes + Hot Dogs.

No BBQ for June, and will also have a pie and a sausage roll in the oven.

RACING DAY: SUNDAY 21ST JUNE.

Two of the rental trucks are now reserved, so if you're expecting to reserve a rental, drop a comment below! 👇

CANTEEN FEEDBACK Huge thanks from the canteen crew for your continuous support of homemade track-side food. We want your input!

Mac N Cheese worked OK, Nachos worked better, and BBQ Beef Burgers better again and everyone loved the souvlaki. Meatball Subs aren't going anywhere. Thanks for the learnings!

Who has menu suggestions for next time? Would you smash a fully loaded baked potato? Got a favourite from the list above that you always want to see?

Let us know, and keep in mind our limited cooking facilities :)

🏁 MAY MEET WRAP UP 🏎️

Small crowd but zero fear of the clouds made for a fabulous day of racing! A true highlands clubbie day.

DEBUT OF RALLY VALLEY The rookies welcomed a familiar face - Val (AKA Rally Valley)! A few ❤️ absolute legends 👊🏼 in the club built Val her own super-robust red truck complete with headlights*. St Ives crew (and Shane), you would have been proud.

Her official debut stats: Fast Lap: 65.403 seconds, Avg. Lap: 77.671 seconds 😂

Safe to say there is plenty of room for improvement! Massive respect to all the racers out there clocking ridiculously fast lap times. You can check all the other lap stats right here: https://shorrccc.liverc.com/results/

Best outcome of the day? Val showed her son William the new truck... and guess who is officially coming back for the June meet! Thank you Clubbies!

TRACK UPDATES UPCOMING Tonnes of road base are being delivered soon so we can kick off track upgrades.

We need a few hands up for a working 🐝 bee: we want your input on everything from designing the new layout to deciding exactly how high those jumps should go. You're going to love it! Get in touch if you can volunteer a little time.

NEXT MEET & RENTALS Next race day is Sunday, 21st June.

BIG SHOUT OUT to our new President, Heath, for the legendary donation to the club—a real-deal bean-grinding coffee machine!

We all know it takes more than a Moccona to survive those early morning race-day setups, so this is a total game-changer for all of us.

Bear with Val as she learns the ropes of becoming a barrister. She’s currently a one-trick-pony with her lattes, but she’s getting there. Mega thanks to the "step-up-barristers" who jumped in on Sunday to keep the caffeine flowing while we worked it all out.

NEXT RACE DAY: Sunday, May 17th.

See you at the track!

April was a cracker! We had a great turnout of members and some seriously fun racing with a huge lineup of Juniors and Rookies showing us all how it's done.

Big news from our AGM: our amazing President David officially stepped down after 4 years at the helm. We truly can’t thank David enough for his relentless commitment; he and his whole family are the absolute heart of this club and are loved by everyone. But he ain't going anywhere and we should see him back on the track more. David will be handing over some management reins to...

Huge congrats to Heath who was voted in as our new President! He’ll be working with the committee and all our members to keep the vibe alive and the club growing strong. Joining the team on the committee include Owen, Mathew, Mick, Billy, and Dan. Great to have you all on board to help steer the ship.

A massive welcome also to all our new members over recent months. We love the atmosphere you’ve brought with you and how quickly you've become a big part of the club. From rookies to experienced racers, your vibe in this tribe is strong!

NEXT RACE DAY: Sunday, May 17th. See you at the track!

12/04/2026

WE ARE RACING ON SUNDAY!

See you at the track.

Gates open 8.30am
Registrations 9.30am
Racing at 10am

We will be holding our AGM on Sunday.

Hi Racing Members,

As a member-based club, we hold an AGM each year to review how we operate and who our committee is, and what we all do.

It's also an opportunity for you to speak up as a Club too. Remember, we are all volunteers doing our best. Happy to hear feedback, ideas or just claps of praise.

This is notice of our upcoming AGM which we will typically hold on or after the April race meet. It's a short meeting usually, and as members you are welcome to attend. The main item being tabled is the role of President, and yes, we do take nominations. If you are considering putting your hand up for this role, can you please respond with your interest, or indeed, if you'd like to make a nomination of someone else.

Let us know if you have any questions and I'm happy to help.

Next race day is Sunday 19th April, see you there!
