Hey RC family! 🏁
We are bursting with pride for our fabulous Junior, Billy! 🚗💨 He recently attended the final round of the NSW Racing League down at the St Ives track. Racing on a completely new track he'd never seen before, at a new club with new everything, Billy didn't just give it a go—he powered through and finished an incredible 4th place! We are mega proud of his effort, determination, and sportsmanship. Way to represent the club, Billy! 🏆
Looking to get your own racing fix? Our next race day is locked in for Sunday, 20th September!
Gates open at 8:30 AM, setup begins and driver's meeting takes place at 10:00 AM with racing starting thereafter.
Keep an eye on our page for morning track updates, we'll advise ASAP if we're rained out.
Canteen: Fuel up at the trackside canteen featuring a typical trackside BBQ and cold drinks!
Rental Trucks: Rental trucks are available for anyone wanting to try out racing or needing a secondary rig for the track day. Be sure to check in early for availability. Message below (NO DMs) and we'll get you sorted.

Rained out today 👎, so let's make up for it — informal practice day next Sunday 23rd to get some laps in!

Track open from 9:30 AM. Come have a play and enjoy some track time.

No canteen running but cold drinks will be on hand.

RACING IS CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN.

We were ambitious to beat the rain but its got us. Sorry everyone.

We shall try again next month.

We are racing tomorrow, Sunday 16th August.

It's pretty chilly at the moment so pack your warm hoodie.

Canteen is ready - hotdogs, nachos and baked potatoes + pies and sausage rolls.

Gates open 8:30 AM — grab your pit spot, get set up, and be ready for the 10:00 AM drivers' meeting (mandatory, you know the drill) before we get racing.

Hi Southern Highlands Clubbies

We're supporting all RC racing with this message below from Hills RC - KING OF THE HILLS is back.

Any international/interstate drivers that need a table/chair/tent space are to email the club after entering.

After plenty of planning and talks behind the scenes between all kingdoms, we are excited to announce that we can officially confirm that Daniel Kobbevik sport and Spencer Rivkin are locked in and have their sights set on being crowned the King of the Hills this coming
November at Hills Off Road RC Club.

With further international drivers planning on also invading the event, this will not want to be missed. So for further information, to enter now and view the current entry list, visit

And to ensure nobody misses a minute of the battles, the event will be live-streamed thanks to On Track RC Media. And just to add a little further excitement to what is already going to be a spectacular event, they will be filming it in the clockwise direction

Event Format - IFMAR * Best 3 of 5 - 5 minute qualifiers (TBC if time permitting) * Best 2 of 3 - 5 minute finals for individual class results * Overall Event Champions are awarded on the lowest point scorer for all 6 finals counting across the same motor class of 2WD & 4WD competition.

Racing: Join us for a full day of action at the SHORRCCC track. Weather says NO RAIN, but bring your jackets, we feel the cold when it snows in Thredbo!

Canteen: Huge thanks to Owen for stepping up to run the BBQ and canteen. Make sure to stop by, grab a feed, and support the club.

Rental Trucks: Need a truck for the day? Don't miss out—DM us to reserve your rental truck before they are all gone.

JUNE MEET WRAP UP

What a great day at the track! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to race - the turnout was fantastic and the energy on the driver's stand was exactly what we love to see.

The canteen was buzzing, and we’re thrilled that the hotdogs and baked potatoes were such a hit. They will be making a return!

A MASSIVE WELCOME A special shout-out to our newest rookies and members who joined the tribe this month. It’s brilliant to have you on board—wave to the newcomers, everyone! 👋👋

NEXT RACE DAY: Mark your calendars: Sunday, July 19th.

We’re already looking forward to it, especially because Owen will be taking charge of the BBQ and canteen duties. Be kind to him.
