Celebrating Alice on her 25th parkrun today!

Turns out she wasn't the only one who achieved a milestone today! Congrats also to Alice's dad Matthew along with Wayne on his 25th.

And to Nicola on her 50th!

This week 193 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 31 were first timers and 16 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different clubs took part.

Yeppoon parkrun started on 17th June 2017. Since then 7,320 participants have completed 40,506 parkruns covering a total distance of 202,530 km, including 5,663 new Personal Bests. A total of 432 individuals have volunteered 4,261 times.

Just a reminder that we are looking to hold the special events over the festive season provided we have the vollies to cover the roles.

Christmas Day roster is all but filled with only a Marshall left open. We can go ahead with it - YAY!

New Years Day has a few extra spots that need filling- if you are planning to be around that day and can help out please pop your name in the book so we can look at getting NYD confirmed too.

Our events can't go ahead without a timekeeper - have you recently achieved a milestone? Or perhaps you're injured and need some downtime but still want to keep the parkrun habit?

This Saturday is the perfect opportunity!

Full on the job training provided!! Only need a smart phone and the job is yours!
