Today is World Drowning Prevention Day, a global reminder that drowning is preventable.

Our surf club is committed to helping keep our community safe through beach patrols, water safety education, and the dedication of our volunteer members. Every patrol, every lesson, and every conversation about water safety can make a difference.

You can help reduce the risk of drowning by:
* Always swimming between the red and yellow flags.
* Supervising children closely around water.
* Checking beach conditions before entering the water.
* Learning essential water safety and CPR skills.

Together, we can help save lives and ensure everyone enjoys our beaches safely
