You're invited to a paddock walk to look at 2 environmental planting (EP) sites near Rockley on Thursday 9th July; part of Little River Landcare’s Low Carbon Landscapes project. The day will kick off at 9.30am, meeting at 386 Swallows Nest Rd, Mount David, where Simon Campbell will take us through the decision making behind his own EP project. We will then move to site 2 where Nakita Thackwray from Carbon Stock will discuss a second site and its projected financial and biodiversity outcomes.

Simon Campbell and Grant Tranter from Renovo Ag will give and overview of carbon markets and carbon sequestration potential in the Campbell’s River Catchment – how the economics stack up between traditional farming and environmental plantings markets.
This is a free community event to help clarify the murky waters of carbon projects!!

Low Carbon Landscapes at the Rockley Pub last Thursday night - taking the community through the opportunity of small scale Environmental Planting projects in the Campbell River Catchment. We are heading back to Rockley on the 9th July for a paddock walk, checking out some local EP projects & discussing landholder mapping reports with Renovo Ag. Stay tuned for details!

Our project is funded through the NSW Government’s Low Carbon Landscapes grants, helping farmers and land managers reduce emissions, improve biodiversity and build stronger regional economies.

Little River Landcare's Low Carbon Landscape project is kicking off tonight at the Cumnock Bowling Club. Landholders are interested in seeing how carbon projects might value add to their farm income stream.
