Campsites.asn.au is an Australian association of private property owners that allow camping and associated activities (4wding, cycling, swimming, kayaking, etc) on their land. One of the advantages of becoming a Private Site is that the Association will insure YOU, the private landowner with $20 mill Event Insurance for organising camping and associated activities on your property. We are a member

organisation, which means we do NOT act as an agent and take commission from your camping fees. Every booking taken through our website, get's paid directly to YOU, the private landowner, as it should be! One of the main benefits of campers joining the Association is the exclusive access you’ll receive to our private, member only campsites. Our Private Sites only accommodate a small number of caravans or motorhomes and tents at any one time and with fees from as little as $5 per unit, per night you can afford to take more breaks, more often! With site categories ranging from adult, bush, family, motorcycle, outback and waterside, you'll never be short of finding a friendly welcome and the perfect place to stay. We have an expert team of Site Officers who review our sites every year to make sure they are up to the standards our members expect, so all that’s left to do is pitch up, sit back and relax!

When it comes to Camping, our Members come to us for expert advice and help. Becoming a Private Campsite means that the Association has given your private property the stamp of approval, recommending your property to our Members as a reputable campsite. The Private Campsite Network is about protecting private landowners with insurance in return for allowing our Members to camp and participate in associated activities. Criteria: To be considered as Private Campsite, your property must: Be a Campsite Owner Member of the Association; Have at least 2,000 sqm (half an acre) of fairly level land or areas where it is; Be willing to abide by our Code of Practice and Code of Conduct; Participate in annual reviews of the campsite operation and premises.
