Sadly, the life of the lovely Rev. Nancy Leng suddenly came to an end on May 19th. Tomorrow, Friday June 3rd at 11am, we will be having a memorial service for Nancy at Westgate. If you are unable to be there you can either live stream the service or watch it later at: facebook.com/wbc.yarraville

WE ARE HIRING!

Westgate Baptist Community is seeking a community minded coordinator to nurture connection and belonging within our church and local community.

This is part-time role (0.6) that focuses on our Monday Community Meal and our Children and Families Ministry including Mainly Music. It is about building relationships, supporting volunteers and creating welcoming inclusive spaces.

We are looking for someone who is:
*Warm, relational and organised
*Experienced in working with volunteers and/or children and families
*Passionate about community and hospitality

On the morning of Good Friday, one of Westgate's foundational members Leslie-John Newman died suddenly at Westhaven Aged Care. Leslie-John was a loved member of our church community, and we are holding a memorial service for him at Westgate, this Friday at 2pm. All are welcome.

Lovely ecumenical feel to our Carol service this year. Fantastic participation by the children and special thanks to all the musicians and to Ruth, Jenny and Jill for their leadership of the event. Thanks also to Penny and team for the fine supper afterwards
