This National Volunteer Week, we want to pause and say a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who serves alongside LinC Yarra Valley.
Whether you are welcoming families, packing fresh food, stocking shelves, preparing spaces, listening to stories, supporting children, helping behind the scenes, or simply offering a warm smile — your contribution matters deeply.
At a time when more individuals and families across our community are experiencing hardship, your kindness and consistency create something powerful: a place where people feel seen, supported and valued.
Much of what happens at LinC would simply not be possible without volunteers. You are the quiet strength behind so many moments of practical care and community connection.
Importantly, you also bring dignity to the work. You remind people they are more than their circumstances. Through small acts of generosity, patience and compassion, you help create spaces of hope.
National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to recognise the extraordinary impact of ordinary people showing up faithfully for others.
