A Huge Thank You to the NSW Fire Crews! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ’›

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Yankalilla, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible fire crews from New South Wales who recently visited our community, in our time of need.
It was humbling to see how much they appreciated the donations we provided to keep them fueled with coffee and food during their tireless efforts. โ˜•๐Ÿด

The crew even signed a jacket expressing how much they loved it, and we are truly touched by their kindness. While I was unable to be there in person to accept the gift on behalf of Rotary, we are so grateful for the ongoing support of our wonderful community during the fires.

Your generosity means the world to us, and itโ€™s been an honor to support our heroes on the frontlines. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Thank you for being a part of this effort!

Deep Creek Fire - Wellbeing Support

The Deep Creek Fire is affecting local individuals, families, and the wider community in many different ways. If you have been, or are feeling affected, and would like someone to talk to, you can register for a call back from the Australian Red Cross by completing the SA Deep Creek Fires - Register for Wellbeing Support registration form.

Once registered, a member of the Australian Red Cross team will phone you between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, to offer psychosocial support and check in on your wellbeing.

The Australian Red Cross will also work closely with Council and community engagement teams to ensure relevant support can be best coordinated across the area.

2025 FIREWORKS
At Normanville, NOT At Carrickalinga.

For some reason (and we have no idea why) the Advertiser has stated we will be having the firework display here at Forktree.

We apologise for any inconvenience or confusion they have caused with this post.
The fireworks will be in Normanville as usual with Aqua Blue as their main sponsor.

We wish you all a happy New Yearโ€™s Eve and look forward to seeing you all again on the 2nd January onwards!

Just a reminder, so you are aware of the road closures
