Looking back on August, we wanted to share what our community has helped make possible. 🧡

Through The Second Chapter, your donations, purchases, volunteer hours and ongoing support have contributed to:

• $2,617.54 raised
• 160 volunteer hours

Funds raised through The Second Chapter are shared between the community organisations involved, helping support the work each organisation is doing locally.

For Kindlewood, our share helps us continue building towards our bigger vision of creating compassionate end-of-life support for families across Yanchep and Two Rocks.

Every item donated, every purchase made and every hour volunteered makes a difference.

You’re warmly invited to Kindle Club this Tuesday. 🧡

Kindle Club is a space where stories are shared, hearts are heard and comfort can be found in companionship.

Each month, we come together for a relaxed morning of open conversation about life, loss and everything in between. You are welcome to chat, listen or simply sit alongside others with a warm cuppa.

Everyone who joins us is welcomed with a cuppa and cake offer, with a huge thank you to Jamaica Blue Yanchep for supporting Kindle Club and helping us create this space each month.

As Father’s Day comes to a close, we’re thinking of all the dads, grandads, father figures and the people who have stepped into those roles with love. 🧡

We’re also holding space for those who found today difficult. For those missing someone, remembering a dad who is no longer here, or carrying a relationship that feels complicated.

However today looked for you, we hope there were moments of love, connection and reflection.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Kindlewood. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special Dying to Know Day evening. The warmth in the room, the honest conversations and the beautiful connections made it truly magic. 🧡

We are so grateful to Dying to Know and for funding this meaningful event, and to Events by Kez Barnard for creating such a beautiful setting.

A big thank you to Bridget’s House for the wonderful catering, Mosh's Sprinkle Treats In A Box for the delicious cookies, and Laura at Aqua Kreartz for the incredible art connection and calming close to the evening.
