Yamba parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at Ford Park, River Road, Yamba, NSW, Australia. Yamba parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juni

ors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

🌳 This week 45 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 19 were first timers to Yamba.

🥇 We also welcomed a couple of first timers today. Welcome to parkrun Keegan Kerr and Peter Schultz! We hope to see you again in future weeks!

🏃‍♂️ Good luck to all of our locals and visitors taking part in the Coffs Harbour Running Festival this weekend! We can’t wait to hear all of the stories across all the events!

🌳 This week 61 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 23 were first timers to Yamba and 6 recorded new Personal Bests for the Yamba course.

💃 Great to see so many tutus out on course this morning for the 22nd!

🏅 A cool morning saw a few parkrunners achieve new personal bests for the Yamba course. Congratulations Henry Jenner, Trent Smith, David Barnes, Jaz Skinner, Alisha Nee and Angela Druery!

🥇 We also welcomed a couple of first timers today. Welcome to parkrun Ben Patch and Richelle Dorney! We hope to see you again in future weeks!

🌳 This week 75 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 28 were first timers to Yamba and 7 recorded new Personal Bests for the Yamba course.

🌅 We had another beautiful morning for this week’s event. We welcomed a bunch of visitors from Grafton, Urunga, Dunedin, Sydney and Perth. We even had some parkrunners make the trip down early this morning from Brisbane. Now that’s commitment!

🏆 We had a couple of big milestones to celebrate this morning. Congratulations Warwick Lean on 50 parkruns and to John Pointon on 600! That’s a huge effort, well done!

🔠 A big congratulations to Kathrine Farry on completing your alphabet by securing a ‘Y’ in Yamba!

🌳 This week 70 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 21 were first timers to Yamba and 3 recorded new Personal Bests for the Yamba course.

🐶 Who let the dogs out!? Grafton’s newest run club the Run Dawggss made an appearance at Yamba parkrun this morning, contributing to a large visitors crowd which included parkrunners from places such as Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart and New Zealand!

🏆 We had a couple of milestones to celebrate this morning. Congratulations Athena Pattas on 50 parkruns and Simon Dougherty on 25 volunteer efforts!

🏅 It was a beautiful morning and conditions were good, this saw a few parkrunners achieve new personal bests for the Yamba course. Congratulations Roy Hawkes, Christopher Lichon and Rich McKeon!

🌳 This week 53 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 14 were first timers to Yamba and 7 recorded new Personal Bests for the Yamba course.

🤳🏻 There are so many ways to bring your barcode to parkrun. Be it on your phone, watch, a tag on your keys or shoe, or of course the trusty print out…but consider this a friendly reminder to check your print sizes! Hats off to Phillip who made scanning in easy for our barcode scanner this morning! We love the dedication! 😂

🌳 This week 51 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 16 were first timers to Yamba and 7 recorded new Personal Bests for the Yamba course.

🥶 On what was our coldest start of the year, we welcomed a bunch of visitors, which included parkrunners from Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, Hobart and Grafton!

🏅 Perhaps it was the cold, but we saw a stack of people achieve new personal bests for the Yamba course. Congratulations Braden Lewis, Henry Jenner, Quinn Porceddu, David Barnes, Nathan Phee, Joachim Ribbe and Sindy Lumley!
