Wynyard Camera Club Wynyard Camera Club
The Club was formed in 1955 and since has been meeting twice monthly in Wynyard, Tasmania. We currently have around 30 members.

You are most welcome to come without obligation for a few meetings to see if the club is for you.. Serving the community for 67 years, the Wynyard Camera Club has become a well-established club catering for people interested in digital and print photography at all levels. Wynyard Camera Club:

• Caters for all people, all ages interested in digital and print photography
• Provides the opportunity to meet with other photographers to talk and improve
their craft
• Enter club competitions
• Compete in inter-club, state, national and international competitions
• Participate in photographic activities and outings
• Gain skills from guest speakers
• Be a part of a group of enthusiasts willing to share their knowledge and passion
for photography

Meeting time:

Between 7.30pm and 9.30pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month (except the third Tuesday in December and the first and third Tuesday in January)

A Little About Richard Hawley:

Richard started at Southern Cross Television (now Seven Tasmania) in 1999, working in various roles before joining the editing department in 2005.
Over the next 13 years, he produced thousands of television commercials, edited the well-known television program, Hook, Line and Sinker, worked on Targa Tasmania documentaries and regularly assisted with the Nightly News.
In 2018, Richard became a freelance editor, working mainly with Melbourne producer Mike Chapman. Initially, this involved editing programs broadcast on Channel 10 in Australia and a New Zealand television network. He now spends around 90% of his time editing America byDesign, an architectural design program produced for CBS in America, along with work for several smaller clients.
Richard works from his home editing studio and, outside of work, runs a YouTube channel producing bushwalking videos with up-and-coming actor, his father and Wynyard Camera Club member, Don Hawley.
